The Spirit of the LORD spake by me, and his word was in my tongue.

My mouth shall speak of wisdom; and the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding.

My words shall be of the uprightness of my heart: and my lips shall utter knowledge clearly.

This Ezra went up from Babylon; and he was a ready scribe in the law of Moses, which the LORD God of Israel had given: and the king granted him all his request, according to the hand of the LORD his God upon him.

The heart of the wise teacheth his mouth, and addeth learning to his lips.

While the king sitteth at his table, my spikenard sendeth forth the smell thereof.

For I am full of matter, the spirit within me constraineth me. Behold, my belly is as wine which hath no vent; it is ready to burst like new bottles. I will speak, that I may be refreshed: I will open my lips and answer.

A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.

This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; and the opening of my lips shall be right things. For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness is an abomination to my lips. All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward or perverse in them. They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge.

And set up over his head his accusation written, THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS.

Let us choose to us judgment: let us know among ourselves what is good.

For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment. And a man shall be as an hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest; as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land.

Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.

{A Psalm of David.} The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.
