Job 8:1-22
[1] Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said, [2] How long wilt thou speak these things? and how long shall the words of thy mouth be like a strong wind? [3] Doth God pervert judgment? or doth the Almighty pervert justice? [4] If thy children have sinned against him, and he have cast them away for their transgression; [5] If thou wouldest seek unto God betimes, and make thy supplication to the Almighty; [6] If thou wert pure and upright; surely now he would awake for thee, and make the habitation of thy righteousness prosperous. [7] Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase. [8] For inquire, I pray thee, of the former age, and prepare thyself to the search of their fathers: [9] (For we are but of yesterday, and know nothing, because our days upon earth are a shadow:) [10] Shall not they teach thee, and tell thee, and utter words out of their heart? [11] Can the rush grow up without mire? can the flag grow without water? [12] Whilst it is yet in his greenness, and not cut down, it withereth before any other herb. [13] So are the paths of all that forget God; and the hypocrite's hope shall perish: [14] Whose hope shall be cut off, and whose trust shall be a spider's web. [15] He shall lean upon his house, but it shall not stand: he shall hold it fast, but it shall not endure. [16] He is green before the sun, and his branch shooteth forth in his garden. [17] His roots are wrapped about the heap, and seeth the place of stones. [18] If he destroy him from his place, then it shall deny him, saying, I have not seen thee. [19] Behold, this is the joy of his way, and out of the earth shall others grow. [20] Behold, God will not cast away a perfect man, neither will he help the evil doers: [21] Till he fill thy mouth with laughing, and thy lips with rejoicing. [22] They that hate thee shall be clothed with shame; and the dwelling place of the wicked shall come to nought. |

Job 18:1-21
[1] Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said, [2] How long will it be ere ye make an end of words? mark, and afterwards we will speak. [3] Wherefore are we counted as beasts, and reputed vile in your sight? [4] He teareth himself in his anger: shall the earth be forsaken for thee? and shall the rock be removed out of his place? [5] Yea, the light of the wicked shall be put out, and the spark of his fire shall not shine. [6] The light shall be dark in his tabernacle, and his candle shall be put out with him. [7] The steps of his strength shall be straitened, and his own counsel shall cast him down. [8] For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he walketh upon a snare. [9] The gin shall take him by the heel, and the robber shall prevail against him. [10] The snare is laid for him in the ground, and a trap for him in the way. [11] Terrors shall make him afraid on every side, and shall drive him to his feet. [12] His strength shall be hungerbitten, and destruction shall be ready at his side. [13] It shall devour the strength of his skin: even the firstborn of death shall devour his strength. [14] His confidence shall be rooted out of his tabernacle, and it shall bring him to the king of terrors. [15] It shall dwell in his tabernacle, because it is none of his: brimstone shall be scattered upon his habitation. [16] His roots shall be dried up beneath, and above shall his branch be cut off. [17] His remembrance shall perish from the earth, and he shall have no name in the street. [18] He shall be driven from light into darkness, and chased out of the world. [19] He shall neither have son nor nephew among his people, nor any remaining in his dwellings. [20] They that come after him shall be astonied at his day, as they that went before were affrighted. [21] Surely such are the dwellings of the wicked, and this is the place of him that knoweth not God. |

Job 25:1-6
[1] Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said, [2] Dominion and fear are with him, he maketh peace in his high places. [3] Is there any number of his armies? and upon whom doth not his light arise? [4] How then can man be justified with God? or how can he be clean that is born of a woman? [5] Behold even to the moon, and it shineth not; yea, the stars are not pure in his sight. [6] How much less man, that is a worm? and the son of man, which is a worm? |

Job 2:11
Now when Job's three friends heard of all this evil that was come upon him, they came every one from his own place; Eliphaz the Temanite, and Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite: for they had made an appointment together to come to mourn with him and to comfort him. |

Job 42:9
So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went, and did according as the LORD commanded them: the LORD also accepted Job. |
