Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and Have Not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and Have Not charity, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and Have Not charity, it profiteth me nothing. Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, read more Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity. show less

If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. read more Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way? For ye Have Not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye Have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
And Not only they, but ourselves also, which Have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, which followed Not after righteousness, Have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith.
For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, Have Not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.
How then shall they call on him in whom they Have Not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they Have Not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
But they Have Not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?
But I say, Have they Not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.
But what saith the answer of God unto him? I Have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who Have Not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.
For as ye in times past Have Not believed God, yet Have now obtained mercy through their unbelief:
Even so Have these also now Not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.
For rulers are Not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then Not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt Have praise of the same:
Hast thou faith? Have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth Not himself in that thing which he alloweth.
Yea, so Have I strived to preach the gospel, Not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another man's foundation:
But as it is written, To whom he was Not spoken of, they shall see: and they that Have Not heard shall understand.
That I may be delivered from them that do Not believe in Judaea; and that my service which I Have for Jerusalem may be accepted of the saints;
Who Have for my life laid down their own necks: unto whom Not only I give thanks, but also all the churches of the Gentiles.
Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would Not Have crucified the Lord of glory.
But as it is written, Eye hath Not seen, nor ear heard, neither Have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
Now we Have received, Not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
I Have fed you with milk, and Not with meat: for hitherto ye were Not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.
And these things, brethren, I Have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us Not to think of men above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another.
For though ye Have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet Have ye Not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I Have begotten you through the gospel.
It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is Not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should Have his father's wife.
And ye are puffed up, and Have Not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you.
But now I Have written unto you Not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no Not to eat.
For what Have I to do to judge them also that are without? do Not ye judge them that are within?
What? know ye Not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye Have of God, and ye are Not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
But and if thou marry, thou hast Not sinned; and if a virgin marry, she hath Not sinned. Nevertheless such shall Have trouble in the flesh: but I spare you.
Am I Not an apostle? am I Not free? Have I Not seen Jesus Christ our Lord? are Not ye my work in the Lord?
Have we Not power to lead about a sister, a wife, as well as other apostles, and as the brethren of the Lord, and Cephas?
If others be partakers of this power over you, are Not we rather? Nevertheless we Have Not used this power; but suffer all things, lest we should hinder the gospel of Christ.
For though I preach the gospel, I Have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach Not the gospel!
But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and Not to God: and I would Not that ye should Have fellowship with devils.
Doth Not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man Have long hair, it is a shame unto him?
What? Have ye Not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise ye the church of God, and shame them that Have Not? What shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise you Not.
And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity. show less

Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we Have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised Not up, if so be that the dead rise Not.
If after the manner of men I Have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantageth it me, if the dead rise Not? let us eat and drink; for to morrow we die.
Awake to righteousness, and sin Not; for some Have Not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
As touching our brother Apollos, I greatly desired him to come unto you with the brethren: but his will was Not at all to come at this time; but he will come when he shall Have convenient time.
For we would Not, brethren, Have you ignorant of our trouble which came to us in Asia, that we were pressed out of measure, above strength, insomuch that we despaired even of life:
For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, Not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we Have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward.
Not for that we Have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for by faith ye stand.
For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote unto you with many tears; Not that ye should be grieved, but that ye might know the love which I Have more abundantly unto you.
But if any Have caused grief, he hath Not grieved me, but in part: that I may Not overcharge you all.
Therefore seeing we Have this ministry, as we Have received mercy, we faint Not; But Have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, Not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe Not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. read more For we preach Not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we Have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and Not of us. We are troubled on every side, yet Not distressed; we are perplexed, but Not in despair; Persecuted, but Not forsaken; cast down, but Not destroyed; Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh. So then death worketh in us, but life in you. We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore Have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak; Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you. For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God. For which cause we faint Not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; show less

For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we Have a building of God, an house Not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
For we commend Not ourselves again unto you, but give you occasion to glory on our behalf, that ye may Have somewhat to answer them which glory in appearance, and Not in heart.
I speak Not this to condemn you: for I Have said before, that ye are in our hearts to die and live with you.
For if I Have boasted any thing to him of you, I am Not ashamed; but as we spake all things to you in truth, even so our boasting, which I made before Titus, is found a truth.
And herein I give my advice: for this is expedient for you, who Have begun before, Not only to do, but also to be forward a year ago.
For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we Have Not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye Have Not received, or another gospel, which ye Have Not accepted, ye might well bear with him.
But though I be rude in speech, yet Not in knowledge; but we Have been throughly made manifest among you in all things.
And lest, when I come again, my God will humble me among you, and that I shall bewail many which Have sinned already, and Have Not repented of the uncleanness and fornication and lasciviousness which they Have committed.
I told you before, and foretell you, as if I were present, the second time; and being absent now I write to them which heretofore Have sinned, and to all other, that, if I come again, I will Not spare:
Knowing that a man is Not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we Have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and Not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
Brethren, I beseech you, be as I am; for I am as ye are: ye Have Not injured me at all.
For, brethren, ye Have been called unto liberty; only use Not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I Have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall Not inherit the kingdom of God.
But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he Have rejoicing in himself alone, and Not in another.
Wherefore, my beloved, as ye Have always obeyed, Not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I Have Not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.
For indeed he was sick nigh unto death: but God had mercy on him; and Not on him only, but on me also, lest I should Have sorrow upon sorrow.
Brethren, I count Not myself to Have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
Not that I speak in respect of want: for I Have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be Not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye Have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;
For I would that ye knew what great conflict I Have for you, and for them at Laodicea, and for as many as Have Not seen my face in the flesh;
Which things Have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; Not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.
So being affectionately desirous of you, we were willing to Have imparted unto you, Not the gospel of God only, but also our own souls, because ye were dear unto us.
Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and Have persecuted us; and they please Not God, and are contrary to all men:
But I would Not Have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow Not, even as others which Have no hope.
And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men Have Not faith.
Not because we Have Not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us.
And if any man obey Not our word by this epistle, note that man, and Have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.
Of whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I Have delivered unto Satan, that they may learn Not to blaspheme.
If any man or woman that believeth Have widows, let them relieve them, and let Not the church be charged; that it may relieve them that are widows indeed.
And they that Have believing masters, let them Not despise them, because they are brethren; but rather do them service, because they are faithful and beloved, partakers of the benefit. These things teach and exhort.
For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am Not ashamed: for I know whom I Have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I Have committed unto him against that day.
I Paul Have written it with mine own hand, I will repay it: albeit I do Not say to thee how thou owest unto me even thine own self besides.
Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they Have Not known my ways.
For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he Not afterward Have spoken of another day.
Neither is there any creature that is Not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we Have to do.
For we Have Not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
So also Christ glorified Not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day Have I begotten thee.
For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye Have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as Have need of milk, and Not of strong meat.
For God is Not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye Have shewed toward his name, in that ye Have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
For then would they Not Have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should Have had no more conscience of sins.
And ye Have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise Not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:
Furthermore we Have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we Not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?
Be Not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some Have entertained angels unawares.
Be Not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; Not with meats, which Have Not profited them that Have been occupied therein.
Obey them that Have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and Not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.
My brethren, Have Not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons.
But ye Have despised the poor. Do Not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats?
What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and Have Not works? can faith save him? For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. show less
But if ye Have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory Not, and lie Not against the truth.
Ye lust, and Have Not: ye kill, and desire to Have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye Have Not, because ye ask Not.
Unto whom it was revealed, that Not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that Have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.
Which in time past were Not a people, but are now the people of God: which had Not obtained mercy, but now Have obtained mercy.
For we Have Not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.
For it had been better for them Not to Have known the way of righteousness, than, after they Have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
If we say that we Have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do Not the truth:
My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin Not. And if any man sin, we Have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
They went out from us, but they were Not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt Have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were Not all of us.
I Have Not written unto you because ye know Not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.
But the anointing which ye Have received of him abideth in you, and ye need Not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may Have confidence, and Not be ashamed before him at his coming.
We know that we Have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth Not his brother abideth in death.
And every spirit that confesseth Not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is Not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye Have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
The elder unto the elect lady and her children, whom I love in the truth; and Not I only, but also all they that Have known the truth;
Look to yourselves, that we lose Not those things which we Have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.
I wrote unto the church: but Diotrephes, who loveth to Have the preeminence among them, receiveth us Not.
But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as Have Not this doctrine, and which Have Not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden.
Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I Have Not found thy works perfect before God.
Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which Have Not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.
I know thy works: behold, I Have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast Not denied my name.
Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are Not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I Have loved thee.
Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and Have need of nothing; and knowest Not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
Saying, Hurt Not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we Have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.
And it was commanded them that they should Not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which Have Not the seal of God in their foreheads.
These Have power to shut heaven, that it rain Not in the days of their prophecy: and Have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.
And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it Not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that Have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
