And this is the case of the slayer, which shall flee thither, that he may live: Whoso killeth His neighbour ignorantly, whom he hated not in Time past; As when a man goeth into the wood with His neighbour to hew wood, and His hand fetcheth a stroke with the axe to cut down the tree, and the head slippeth from the helve, and lighteth upon His neighbour, that he die; he shall flee unto one of those cities, and live: Lest the avenger of the blood pursue the slayer, while His heart is hot, and overtake him, because the way is long, and slay him; whereas he was not worthy of death, inasmuch as he hated him not in Time past. Wherefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt separate three cities for thee. read more And if the LORD thy God enlarge thy coast, as he hath sworn unto thy fathers, and give thee all the land which he promised to give unto thy fathers; If thou shalt keep all these commandments to do them, which I command thee this day, to love the LORD thy God, and to walk ever in His ways; then shalt thou add three cities more for thee, beside these three: That innocent blood be not shed in thy land, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance, and so blood be upon thee. But if any man hate His neighbour, and lie in wait for him, and rise up against him, and smite him mortally that he die, and fleeth into one of these cities: Then the elders of His city shall send and fetch him thence, and deliver him into the hand of the avenger of blood, that he may die. Thine eye shall not pity him, but thou shalt put away the guilt of innocent blood from Israel, that it may go well with thee. Thou shalt not remove thy neighbour's landmark, which they of old Time have set in thine inheritance, which thou shalt inherit in the land that the LORD thy God giveth thee to possess it. show less
Lest the avenger of the blood pursue the slayer, while His heart is hot, and overtake him, because the way is long, and slay him; whereas he was not worthy of death, inasmuch as he hated him not in Time past.

And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set His hand again the second Time to recover the remnant of His people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.
Come ye near unto me, hear ye this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the Time that it was, there am I: and now the Lord GOD, and His Spirit, hath sent me.

In the mean Time, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto His disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.
And sent His servant at supper Time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready.
And he answering said to His father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any Time thy commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends:
Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second Time into His mother's womb, and be born?
And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard His voice at any Time, nor seen His shape.
This is now the third Time that Jesus shewed himself to His disciples, after that he was risen from the dead.
And at the second Time Joseph was made known to His brethren; and Joseph's kindred was made known unto Pharaoh.
In which Time Moses was born, and was exceeding fair, and nourished up in His father's house three months:

That he no longer should live the rest of His Time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God. For the Time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries: Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you:
No man hath seen God at any Time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and His love is perfected in us.
