Genesis 19:1-11
And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground; And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant's house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night. And he pressed upon them greatly; and they turned in unto him, and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and did bake unleavened bread, and they did eat. But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter: read more And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them. And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him, And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly. Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof. And they said, Stand back. And they said again, This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the door. But the men put forth their hand, and pulled Lot into the house to them, and shut to the door. And they smote the men that were at the door of the house with blindness, both small and great: so that they wearied themselves to find the door. show less |

And ye shall be Holy Men unto me: neither shall ye eat any flesh that is torn of beasts in the field; ye shall cast it to the dogs.
For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but Holy Men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
And ye shall be Holy Men unto me: neither shall ye eat any flesh that is torn of beasts in the field; ye shall cast it to the dogs.
And if it be a beast, whereof Men bring an offering unto the LORD, all that any man giveth of such unto the LORD shall be Holy. He shall not alter it, nor change it, a good for a bad, or a bad for a good: and if he shall at all change beast for beast, then it and the exchange thereof shall be Holy. And if it be any unclean beast, of which they do not offer a sacrifice unto the LORD, then he shall present the beast before the priest: And the priest shall value it, whether it be good or bad: as thou valuest it, who art the priest, so shall it be. read more But if he will at all redeem it, then he shall add a fifth part thereof unto thy estimation. And when a man shall sanctify his house to be Holy unto the LORD, then the priest shall estimate it, whether it be good or bad: as the priest shall estimate it, so shall it stand. And if he that sanctified it will redeem his house, then he shall add the fifth part of the money of thy estimation unto it, and it shall be his. And if a man shall sanctify unto the LORD some part of a field of his possession, then thy estimation shall be according to the seed thereof: an homer of barley seed shall be valued at fifty shekels of silver. If he sanctify his field from the year of jubile, according to thy estimation it shall stand. But if he sanctify his field after the jubile, then the priest shall reckon unto him the money according to the years that remain, even unto the year of the jubile, and it shall be abated from thy estimation. And if he that sanctified the field will in any wise redeem it, then he shall add the fifth part of the money of thy estimation unto it, and it shall be assured to him. And if he will not redeem the field, or if he have sold the field to another man, it shall not be redeemed any more. But the field, when it goeth out in the jubile, shall be Holy unto the LORD, as a field devoted; the possession thereof shall be the priest's. And if a man sanctify unto the LORD a field which he hath bought, which is not of the fields of his possession; Then the priest shall reckon unto him the worth of thy estimation, even unto the year of the jubile: and he shall give thine estimation in that day, as a Holy thing unto the LORD. In the year of the jubile the field shall return unto him of whom it was bought, even to him to whom the possession of the land did belong. And all thy estimations shall be according to the shekel of the sanctuary: twenty gerahs shall be the shekel. Only the firstling of the beasts, which should be the LORD'S firstling, no man shall sanctify it; whether it be ox, or sheep: it is the LORD'S. And if it be of an unclean beast, then he shall redeem it according to thine estimation, and shall add a fifth part of it thereto: or if it be not redeemed, then it shall be sold according to thy estimation. show less
And the Men of Bethshemesh said, Who is able to stand before this Holy LORD God? and to whom shall he go up from us?
And David answered the priest, and said unto him, Of a truth women have been kept from us about these three days, since I came out, and the vessels of the young Men are Holy, and the bread is in a manner common, yea, though it were sanctified this day in the vessel.
The LORD is in his Holy temple, the LORD'S throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of Men.
The meek also shall increase their joy in the LORD, and the poor among Men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.
Fear not, thou worm Jacob, and ye Men of Israel; I will help thee, saith the LORD, and thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.
As the Holy flock, as the flock of Jerusalem in her solemn feasts; so shall the waste cities be filled with flocks of Men: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the Holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of Men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of Men.
This dream I king Nebuchadnezzar have seen. Now thou, O Belteshazzar, declare the interpretation thereof, forasmuch as all the wise Men of my kingdom are not able to make known unto me the interpretation: but thou art able; for the spirit of the Holy gods is in thee.
Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto Men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto Men.
Men and brethren, this scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost by the mouth of David spake before concerning Judas, which was guide to them that took Jesus.
Crying out, Men of Israel, help: This is the man, that teacheth all Men every where against the people, and the law, and this place: and further brought Greeks also into the temple, and hath polluted this Holy place.
Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of Men, as it is now revealed unto his Holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;
For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of Men we were among you for your sake.
I will therefore that Men pray every where, lifting up Holy hands, without wrath and doubting.
For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but Holy Men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
