Isaiah 43:2
When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. |

Acts 27:41
And falling into a place where two seas met, they ran the ship aground; and the forepart stuck fast, and remained unmoveable, but the hinder part was broken with the violence of the waves. |

Exodus 14:21-31
And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided. And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left. And the Egyptians pursued, and went in after them to the midst of the sea, even all Pharaoh's horses, his chariots, and his horsemen. And it came to pass, that in the morning watch the LORD looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians, read more And took off their chariot wheels, that they drave them heavily: so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel; for the LORD fighteth for them against the Egyptians. And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the sea, that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen. And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the LORD overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea. And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, and all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them; there remained not so much as one of them. But the children of Israel walked upon dry land in the midst of the sea; and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left. Thus the LORD saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians; and Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the sea shore. And Israel saw that great work which the LORD did upon the Egyptians: and the people feared the LORD, and believed the LORD, and his servant Moses. show less |

Matthew 8:23-27
And when he was entered into a ship, his disciples followed him. And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep. And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish. And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm. read more But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him! show less |

Proverbs 8:29
When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth: |
||
And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.
And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the Seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.
These shall ye eat of all that are in the waters: whatsoever hath fins and scales in the waters, in the Seas, and in the rivers, them shall ye eat. And all that have not fins and scales in the Seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing which is in the waters, they shall be an abomination unto you: They shall be even an abomination unto you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, but ye shall have their carcases in abomination. Whatsoever hath no fins nor scales in the waters, that shall be an abomination unto you.
And all that have not fins and scales in the Seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing which is in the waters, they shall be an abomination unto you:
They shall call the people unto the mountain; there they shall offer sacrifices of righteousness: for they shall suck of the abundance of the Seas, and of treasures hid in the sand.
Thou, even thou, art LORD alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the Seas, and all that is therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee.
The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the Seas.
Which stilleth the noise of the Seas, the noise of their waves, and the tumult of the people.
Whatsoever the LORD pleased, that did he in heaven, and in earth, in the Seas, and all deep places.
Woe to the multitude of many people, which make a noise like the noise of the Seas; and to the rushing of nations, that make a rushing like the rushing of mighty waters!
Their widows are increased to me above the sand of the Seas: I have brought upon them against the mother of the young men a spoiler at noonday: I have caused him to fall upon it suddenly, and terrors upon the city.
The ships of Tarshish did sing of thee in thy market: and thou wast replenished, and made very glorious in the midst of the Seas.
Thy rowers have brought thee into great waters: the east wind hath broken thee in the midst of the Seas.
Thy riches, and thy fairs, thy merchandise, thy mariners, and thy pilots, thy calkers, and the occupiers of thy merchandise, and all thy men of war, that are in thee, and in all thy company which is in the midst of thee, shall fall into the midst of the Seas in the day of thy ruin.
When thy wares went forth out of the Seas, thou filledst many people; thou didst enrich the kings of the earth with the multitude of thy riches and of thy merchandise.
In the time when thou shalt be broken by the Seas in the depths of the waters thy merchandise and all thy company in the midst of thee shall fall.
Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the Seas; yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God:
They shall bring thee down to the pit, and thou shalt die the deaths of them that are slain in the midst of the Seas.
Son of man, take up a lamentation for Pharaoh king of Egypt, and say unto him, Thou art like a young lion of the nations, and thou art as a whale in the Seas: and thou camest forth with thy rivers, and troubledst the waters with thy feet, and fouledst their rivers.
And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the Seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.
For thou hadst cast me into the deep, in the midst of the Seas; and the floods compassed me about: all thy billows and thy waves passed over me.
And falling into a place where two Seas met, they ran the ship aground; and the forepart stuck fast, and remained unmoveable, but the hinder part was broken with the violence of the waves.
