Leviticus 26:46
These are the statutes and judgments and laws, which the LORD made between him and the children of Israel in mount Sinai by the hand of Moses. |
They shall leave none of it unto the morning, nor break any bone of it: according to all The Ordinances of the passover they shall keep it.
And the statutes, and The Ordinances, and the law, and the commandment, which he wrote for you, ye shall observe to do for evermore; and ye shall not fear other gods.
Neither will I any more remove the foot of Israel from out of the land which I have appointed for your fathers; so that they will take heed to do all that I have commanded them, according to the whole law and the statutes and The Ordinances by the hand of Moses.
Yet they seek me daily, and delight to know my ways, as a nation that did righteousness, and forsook not the ordinance of their God: they ask of me The Ordinances of justice; they take delight in approaching to God.
Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and The Ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name:
Thus saith the LORD; If my covenant be not with day and night, and if I have not appointed The Ordinances of heaven and earth;
And if they be ashamed of all that they have done, shew them the form of the house, and the fashion thereof, and the goings out thereof, and the comings in thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all The Ordinances thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the laws thereof: and write it in their sight, that they may keep the whole form thereof, and all The Ordinances thereof, and do them.
And he said unto me, Son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; These are The Ordinances of the altar in the day when they shall make it, to offer burnt offerings thereon, and to sprinkle blood thereon.
And the LORD said unto me, Son of man, mark well, and behold with thine eyes, and hear with thine ears all that I say unto thee concerning all The Ordinances of the house of the LORD, and all the laws thereof; and mark well the entering in of the house, with every going forth of the sanctuary.
Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep The Ordinances, as I delivered them to you. But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head. But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven. read more For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered. For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man. For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man. Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man. For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels. Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord. For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman; but all things of God. Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered? Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him? But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering. But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God. show less
And thou shalt teach them Ordinances and laws, and shalt shew them The way wherein they must walk, and The work that they must do.
After The doings of The land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do: and after The doings of The land of Canaan, whither I bring you, shall ye not do: neither shall ye walk in their Ordinances.
Ye shall do my judgments, and keep mine Ordinances, to walk therein: I am The LORD your God.
They shall leave none of it unto The morning, nor break any bone of it: according to all The Ordinances of The passover they shall keep it.
Unto this day they do after The former manners: they fear not The LORD, neither do they after their statutes, or after their Ordinances, or after The law and commandment which The LORD commanded The children of Jacob, whom he named Israel;
And The statutes, and The Ordinances, and The law, and The commandment, which he wrote for you, ye shall observe to do for evermore; and ye shall not fear other gods.

Also we made Ordinances for us, to charge ourselves yearly with The third part of a shekel for The service of The house of our God;
Yet they seek me daily, and delight to know my ways, as a nation that did righteousness, and forsook not The ordinance of their God: they ask of me The Ordinances of justice; they take delight in approaching to God.

If those Ordinances depart from before me, saith The LORD, then The seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.
Thus saith The LORD; If my covenant be not with day and night, and if I have not appointed The Ordinances of heaven and earth;

Even from The days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine Ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith The LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?

Then verily The first covenant had also Ordinances of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary.
Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal Ordinances, imposed on them until The time of reformation.
