Romans 3:9-26
What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin; As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. read more Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips: Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness: Their feet are swift to shed blood: Destruction and misery are in their ways: And the way of peace have they not known: There is no fear of God before their eyes. Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. show less |

Titus 3:2
To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men. |
And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be To all people.
And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin To do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined To do.

And the LORD said unto Moses, When thou goest To return into Egypt, see that thou do all those wonders before Pharaoh, which I have put in thine hand: but I will harden his heart, that he shall not let the people go.

And when Moses' father in law saw all that he did To the people, he said, What is this thing that thou doest To the people? why sittest thou thyself alone, and all the people stand by thee from morning unto even?
Moreover thou shalt provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them, To be rulers of thousands, and rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens:
If thou shalt do this thing, and God command thee so, then thou shalt be able To endure, and all this people shall also go To their place in peace.
And it came To pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that was in the camp trembled.
I will send my fear before thee, and will destroy all the people To whom thou shalt come, and I will make all thine enemies turn their backs unto thee.

Specially the day that thou stoodest before the LORD thy God in Horeb, when the LORD said unto me, Gather me the people together, and I will make them hear my words, that they may learn To fear me all the days that they shall live upon the earth, and that they may teach their children.
For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee To be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.
Only the LORD had a delight in thy fathers To love them, and he chose their seed after them, even you above all people, as it is this day.
But thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be first upon him To put him To death, and afterwards the hand of all the people.
For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God, and the LORD hath chosen thee To be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth.
The hands of the witnesses shall be first upon him To put him To death, and afterward the hands of all the people. So thou shalt put the evil away from among you.
And the LORD hath avouched thee this day To be his peculiar people, as he hath promised thee, and that thou shouldest keep all his commandments;
And To make thee high above all nations which he hath made, in praise, and in name, and in honour; and that thou mayest be an holy people unto the LORD thy God, as he hath spoken.

And I, and all the people that are with me, will approach unto the city: and it shall come To pass, when they come out against us, as at the first, that we will flee before them,
And it came To pass, when the king of Ai saw it, that they hasted and rose up early, and the men of the city went out against Israel To battle, he and all his people, at a time appointed, before the plain; but he wist not that there were liers in ambush against him behind the city.

And all the people arose as one man, saying, We will not any of us go To his tent, neither will we any of us turn into his house.
And we will take ten men of an hundred throughout all the tribes of Israel, and an hundred of a thousand, and a thousand out of ten thousand, To fetch victual for the people, that they may do, when they come To Gibeah of Benjamin, according To all the folly that they have wrought in Israel.
And now, my daughter, fear not; I will do To thee all that thou requirest: for all the city of my people doth know that thou art a virtuous woman.
Wherefore kick ye at my sacrifice and at mine offering, which I have commanded in my habitation; and honourest thy sons above me, To make yourselves fat with the chiefest of all the offerings of Israel my people?
So they sent and gathered together all the lords of the Philistines, and said, Send away the ark of the God of Israel, and let it go again To his own place, that it slay us not, and our people: for there was a deadly destruction throughout all the city; the hand of God was very heavy there.

Hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and do according To all that the stranger calleth To thee for: that all people of the earth may know thy name, To fear thee, as do thy people Israel; and that they may know that this house, which I have builded, is called by thy name.
That thine eyes may be open unto the supplication of thy servant, and unto the supplication of thy people Israel, To hearken unto them in all that they call for unto thee.

But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able To offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee.

Since the day that I brought forth my people out of the land of Egypt I chose no city among all the tribes of Israel To build an house in, that my name might be there; neither chose I any man To be a ruler over my people Israel:

Know ye not what I and my fathers have done unto all the people of other lands? were the gods of the nations of those lands any ways able To deliver their lands out of mine hand?

all the king's servants, and the people of the king's provinces, do know, that whosoever, whether man or woman, shall come unto the king into the inner court, who is not called, there is one law of his To put him To death, except such To whom the king shall hold out the golden sceptre, that he may live: but I have not been called To come in unto the king these thirty days.
Then were the king's scribes called at that time in the third month, that is, the month Sivan, on the three and twentieth day thereof; and it was written according To all that Mordecai commanded unto the Jews, and To the lieutenants, and the deputies and rulers of the provinces which are from India unto Ethiopia, an hundred twenty and seven provinces, unto every province according To the writing thereof, and unto every people after their language, and To the Jews according To their writing, and according To their language.

I will make thy name To be remembered in all generations: therefore shall the people praise thee for ever and ever.
{To the chief Musician, A Psalm for the sons of Korah.} O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.
{To the chief Musician, A Psalm for the sons of Korah.} Hear this, all ye people; give ear, all ye inhabitants of the world:
So we thy people and sheep of thy pasture will give thee thanks for ever: we will shew forth thy praise To all generations.
Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting To everlasting: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the LORD.
Say ye not, A confederacy, To all them To whom this people shall say, A confederacy; neither fear ye their fear, nor be afraid.
Come near, ye nations, To hear; and hearken, ye people: let the earth hear, and all that is therein; the world, and all things that come forth of it.
Even them will I bring To my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.
Which I commanded your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, from the iron furnace, saying, Obey my voice, and do them, according To all which I command you: so shall ye be my people, and I will be your God:
Thus saith the LORD against all mine evil neighbours, that touch the inheritance which I have caused my people Israel To inherit; Behold, I will pluck them out of their land, and pluck out the house of Judah from among them.
And it shall come To pass, when thou shalt shew this people all these words, and they shall say unto thee, Wherefore hath the LORD pronounced all this great evil against us? or what is our iniquity? or what is our sin that we have committed against the LORD our God?
Then came Jeremiah from Tophet, whither the LORD had sent him To prophesy; and he stood in the court of the LORD'S house; and said To all the people,
Behold, I am against them that prophesy false dreams, saith the LORD, and do tell them, and cause my people To err by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I sent them not, nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this people at all, saith the LORD.
The word that came To Jeremiah concerning all the people of Judah in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, that was the first year of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon;
The which Jeremiah the prophet spake unto all the people of Judah, and To all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying,
Now it came To pass, when Jeremiah had made an end of speaking all that the LORD had commanded him To speak unto all the people, that the priests and the prophets and all the people took him, saying, Thou shalt surely die.
Then spake the priests and the prophets unto the princes and To all the people, saying, This man is worthy To die; for he hath prophesied against this city, as ye have heard with your ears.
Then spake Jeremiah unto all the princes and To all the people, saying, The LORD sent me To prophesy against this house and against this city all the words that ye have heard.
Then said the princes and all the people unto the priests and To the prophets; This man is not worthy To die: for he hath spoken To us in the name of the LORD our God.
Then rose up certain of the elders of the land, and spake To all the assembly of the people, saying,
Micah the Morasthite prophesied in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah, and spake To all the people of Judah, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Zion shall be plowed like a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of a forest.
I spake also To Zedekiah king of Judah according To all these words, saying, Bring your necks under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him and his people, and live.
Also I spake To the priests and To all this people, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Hearken not To the words of your prophets that prophesy unto you, saying, Behold, the vessels of the LORD'S house shall now shortly be brought again from Babylon: for they prophesy a lie unto you.
And it came To pass the same year, in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the fourth year, and in the fifth month, that Hananiah the son of Azur the prophet, which was of Gibeon, spake unto me in the house of the LORD, in the presence of the priests and of all the people, saying, Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saying, I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon. Within two full years will I bring again into this place all the vessels of the LORD'S house, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took away from this place, and carried them To Babylon: And I will bring again To this place Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, with all the captives of Judah, that went into Babylon, saith the LORD: for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon. read more Then the prophet Jeremiah said unto the prophet Hananiah in the presence of the priests, and in the presence of all the people that stood in the house of the LORD, Even the prophet Jeremiah said, Amen: the LORD do so: the LORD perform thy words which thou hast prophesied, To bring again the vessels of the LORD'S house, and all that is carried away captive, from Babylon into this place. Nevertheless hear thou now this word that I speak in thine ears, and in the ears of all the people; The prophets that have been before me and before thee of old prophesied both against many countries, and against great kingdoms, of war, and of evil, and of pestilence. The prophet which prophesieth of peace, when the word of the prophet shall come To pass, then shall the prophet be known, that the LORD hath truly sent him. Then Hananiah the prophet took the yoke from off the prophet Jeremiah's neck, and brake it. And Hananiah spake in the presence of all the people, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Even so will I break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon from the neck of all nations within the space of two full years. And the prophet Jeremiah went his way. Then the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah the prophet, after that Hananiah the prophet had broken the yoke from off the neck of the prophet Jeremiah, saying, Go and tell Hananiah, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Thou hast broken the yokes of wood; but thou shalt make for them yokes of iron. For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; I have put a yoke of iron upon the neck of all these nations, that they may serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they shall serve him: and I have given him the beasts of the field also. Then said the prophet Jeremiah unto Hananiah the prophet, Hear now, Hananiah; The LORD hath not sent thee; but thou makest this people To trust in a lie. Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will cast thee from off the face of the earth: this year thou shalt die, because thou hast taught rebellion against the LORD. So Hananiah the prophet died the same year in the seventh month. show less
Now these are the words of the letter that Jeremiah the prophet sent from Jerusalem unto the residue of the elders which were carried away captives, and To the priests, and To the prophets, and To all the people whom Nebuchadnezzar had carried away captive from Jerusalem To Babylon;
Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saying, Because thou hast sent letters in thy name unto all the people that are at Jerusalem, and To Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah the priest, and To all the priests, saying,
This is the word that came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, after that the king Zedekiah had made a covenant with all the people which were at Jerusalem, To proclaim liberty unto them;
And it came To pass in the fifth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, in the ninth month, that they proclaimed a fast before the LORD To all the people in Jerusalem, and To all the people that came from the cities of Judah unto Jerusalem.
Therefore the princes said unto the king, We beseech thee, let this man be put To death: for thus he weakeneth the hands of the men of war that remain in this city, and the hands of all the people, in speaking such words unto them: for this man seeketh not the welfare of this people, but the hurt.
Then Ishmael carried away captive all the residue of the people that were in Mizpah, even the king's daughters, and all the people that remained in Mizpah, whom Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard had committed To Gedaliah the son of Ahikam: and Ishmael the son of Nethaniah carried them away captive, and departed To go over To the Ammonites.
Now it came To pass, that when all the people which were with Ishmael saw Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces that were with him, then they were glad.
Then called he Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces which were with him, and all the people from the least even To the greatest,
And it came To pass, that when Jeremiah had made an end of speaking unto all the people all the words of the LORD their God, for which the LORD their God had sent him To them, even all these words,
So Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces, and all the people, obeyed not the voice of the LORD, To dwell in the land of Judah.
Then Jeremiah said unto all the people, To the men, and To the women, and To all the people which had given him that answer, saying,
Moreover Jeremiah said unto all the people, and To all the women, Hear the word of the LORD, all Judah that are in the land of Egypt:
all her people sigh, they seek bread; they have given their pleasant things for meat To relieve the soul: see, O LORD, and consider; for I am become vile.
And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe To the women that sew pillows To all armholes, and make kerchiefs upon the head of every stature To hunt souls! Will ye hunt the souls of my people, and will ye save the souls alive that come unto you?
Say thou, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Shall it prosper? shall he not pull up the roots thereof, and cut off the fruit thereof, that it wither? it shall wither in all the leaves of her spring, even without great power or many people To pluck it up by the roots thereof.
With the hoofs of his horses shall he tread down all thy streets: he shall slay thy people by the sword, and thy strong garrisons shall go down To the ground.
And I will bring them out from the people, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them To their own land, and feed them upon the mountains of Israel by the rivers, and in all the inhabited places of the country.
Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud To cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people with thee.
Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands, and the people that is with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and To the beasts of the field To be devoured.
Yea, all the people of the land shall bury them; and it shall be To them a renown the day that I shall be glorified, saith the Lord GOD.
And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left To other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.
And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given To the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.
Neither have we hearkened unto thy servants the prophets, which spake in thy name To our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and To all the people of the land.
O Lord, according To all thy righteousness, I beseech thee, let thine anger and thy fury be turned away from thy city Jerusalem, thy holy mountain: because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and thy people are become a reproach To all that are about us.
And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished To scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.
And my people are bent To backsliding from me: though they called them To the most High, none at all would exalt him.
For then will I turn To the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, To serve him with one consent.
Speak unto all the people of the land, and To the priests, saying, When ye fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh month, even those seventy years, did ye at all fast unto me, even To me?
For the seed shall be prosperous; the vine shall give her fruit, and the ground shall give her increase, and the heavens shall give their dew; and I will cause the remnant of this people To possess all these things.
For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem To battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
When the morning was come, all the chief priests and elders of the people took counsel against Jesus To put him To death:
And straightway all the people, when they beheld him, were greatly amazed, and running To him saluted him.
And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be To all people.
Now when all the people were baptized, it came To pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened,
And he came down with them, and stood in the plain, and the company of his disciples, and a great multitude of people out of all Judaea and Jerusalem, and from the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, which came To hear him, and To be healed of their diseases;
And it came To pass, that, when Jesus was returned, the people gladly received him: for they were all waiting for him.
But he said unto them, Give ye them To eat. And they said, We have no more but five loaves and two fishes; except we should go and buy meat for all this people.
In the mean time, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began To say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.
And could not find what they might do: for all the people were very attentive To hear him.
And all the people that came together To that sight, beholding the things which were done, smote their breasts, and returned.
Not To all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before of God, even To us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead.
And when Peter was come To himself, he said, Now I know of a surety, that the Lord hath sent his angel, and hath delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from all the expectation of the people of the Jews.
When John had first preached before his coming the baptism of repentance To all the people of Israel.
But To Israel he saith, all day long I have stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people.
Wherefore in all things it behoved him To be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining To God, To make reconciliation for the sins of the people.
For when Moses had spoken every precept To all the people according To the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people,
