Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day that i shall have cleansed you from all your iniquities i will also cause <i>youi> to dwell in the cities, and the wastes shall be builded.
Then the heathen that are left round about you shall know that i the LORD build the ruined <i>places, andi> plant that that was desolate: i the LORD have spoken <i>iti>, and i will do <i>iti>.
And ye shall know that i <i>ami> the LORD, when i have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves,
And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and i shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that i the LORD have spoken <i>iti>, and performed <i>iti>, saith the LORD.
And ye shall eat fat till ye be full, and drink blood till ye be drunken, of my sacrifice which i have sacrificed for you.
And it shall come to pass, <i>thati> ye shall divide it by lot for an inheritance unto you, and to the strangers that sojourn among you, which shall beget children among you: and they shall be unto you as born in the country among the children of Israel; they shall have inheritance with you among the tribes of Israel.
But if ye will not make known unto me the dream, <i>there is buti> one decree for you: for ye have prepared lying and corrupt words to speak before me, till the time be changed: therefore tell me the dream, and i shall know that ye can shew me the interpretation thereof.
Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the image which i have made; <i>welli>: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who <i>isi> that God that shall deliver you out of my hands?
Hear ye this, O priests; and hearken, ye house of Israel; and give ye ear, O house of the king; for judgment <i>isi> toward you, because ye have been a snare on Mizpah, and a net spread upon Tabor.
you only have i known of all the families of the earth: therefore i will punish you for all your iniquities.
And i also have given you cleanness of teeth in all your cities, and want of bread in all your places: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.
And also i have withholden the rain from you, when <i>there werei> yet three months to the harvest: and i caused it to rain upon one city, and caused it not to rain upon another city: one piece was rained upon, and the piece whereupon it rained not withered.
i have smitten you with blasting and mildew: when your gardens and your vineyards and your fig trees and your olive trees increased, the palmerworm devoured <i>themi>: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.
i have sent among you the pestilence after the manner of Egypt: your young men have i slain with the sword, and have taken away your horses; and i have made the stink of your camps to come up unto your nostrils: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.
i have overthrown <i>somei> of you, as God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, and ye were as a firebrand plucked out of the burning: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.
Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages <i>to put iti> into a bag with holes.
Ho, ho, <i>come forthi>, and flee from the land of the north, saith the LORD: for i have spread you abroad as the four winds of the heaven, saith the LORD.
Thus saith the LORD of hosts; In those days <i>it shall come to passi>, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard <i>thati> God <i>isi> with you.
i have loved you, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? <i>Wasi> not Esau Jacob's brother? saith the LORD: yet i loved Jacob,
A son honoureth <i>hisi> father, and a servant his master: if then i <i>bei> a father, where <i>isi> mine honour? and if i <i>bei> a master, where <i>isi> my fear? saith the LORD of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name?
Who <i>is therei> even among you that would shut the doors <i>for noughti>? neither do ye kindle <i>firei> on mine altar for nought. i have no pleasure in you, saith the LORD of hosts, neither will i accept an offering at your hand.
If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay <i>iti> to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the LORD of hosts, i will even send a curse upon you, and i will curse your blessings: yea, i have cursed them already, because ye do not lay <i>iti> to heart.
And ye shall know that i have sent this commandment unto you, that my covenant might be with Levi, saith the LORD of hosts. My covenant was with him of life and peace; and i gave them to him <i>fori> the fear wherewith he feared me, and was afraid before my name. The law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was not found in his lips: he walked with me in peace and equity, and did turn many away from iniquity.
Therefore have i also made you contemptible and base before all the people, according as ye have not kept my ways, but have been partial in the law.
Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept <i>themi>. Return unto me, and i will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?
And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to <i>ouri> father: for i say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.
Therefore when thou doest <i>thinei> alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily i say unto you, They have their reward.
And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites <i>arei>: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily i say unto you, They have their reward.
Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily i say unto you, They have their reward.
When Jesus heard <i>iti>, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily i say unto you, i have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.
But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily i say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.
And he said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift <i>iti> out?
For verily i say unto you, That many prophets and righteous <i>meni> have desired to see <i>those thingsi> which ye see, and have not seen <i>themi>; and to hear <i>those thingsi> which ye hear, and have not heard <i>themi>.
But i say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them.
And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily i say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
And Jesus said unto them, Verily i say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily i say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this <i>which is donei> to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier <i>mattersi> of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily i say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done <i>iti> unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done <i>iti> unto me.
And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, i have told you.
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever i have commanded you: and, lo, i am with you alway, <i>eveni> unto the end of the world. Amen.
And he said unto them, Verily i say unto you, That there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power.
But i say unto you, That Elias is indeed come, and they have done unto him whatsoever they listed, as it is written of him.
For verily i say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
Therefore i say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive <i>themi>, and ye shall have <i>themi>.
And he called <i>unto himi> his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily i say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury:
Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to <i>ouri> father: for i say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.
When Jesus heard these things, he marvelled at him, and turned him about, and said unto the people that followed him, i say unto you, i have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.
For i tell you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen <i>themi>; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard <i>themi>.
And i say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.
For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have <i>sufficienti> to finish <i>iti>?
And he said unto them, With desire i have desired to eat this passover with you before i suffer:
And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired <i>to havei> you, that he may sift <i>youi> as wheat:
For i say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end.
Said unto them, Ye have brought this man unto me, as one that perverteth the people: and, behold, i, having examined <i>himi> before you, have found no fault in this man touching those things whereof ye accuse him:
If i have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if i tell you <i>ofi> heavenly things?
Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, i say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.
i have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and i speak to the world those things which i have heard of him.
But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which i have heard of God: this did not Abraham.
Yet ye have not known him; but i know him: and if i should say, i know him not, i shall be a liar like unto you: but i know him, and keep his saying.
He answered them, i have told you already, and ye did not hear: wherefore would ye hear <i>iti> again? will ye also be his disciples?
Jesus answered them, Many good works have i shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?
So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and was set down again, he said unto them, Know ye what i have done to you?
i speak not of you all: i know whom i have chosen: but that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eateth bread with me hath lifted up his heel against me.
A new commandment i give unto you, That ye love one another; as i have loved you, that ye also love one another.
These things have i spoken unto you, being <i>yeti> present with you. But the Comforter, <i>which isi> the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever i have said unto you. Peace i leave with you, my peace i give unto you: not as the world giveth, give i unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
But the Comforter, <i>which isi> the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever i have said unto you.
Ye have heard how i said unto you, i go away, and come <i>againi> unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because i said, i go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than i.
And now i have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.
These things have i spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and <i>thati> your joy might be full.
Henceforth i call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but i have called you friends; for all things that i have heard of my Father i have made known unto you.
Ye have not chosen me, but i have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and <i>thati> your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but i have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
Remember the word that i said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
But these things have i told you, that when the time shall come, ye may remember that i told you of them. And these things i said not unto you at the beginning, because i was with you.
And ye now therefore have sorrow: but i will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.
These things have i spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when i shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but i shall shew you plainly of the Father.
For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that i came out from God.
These things i have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; i have overcome the world.
Jesus answered, i have told you that i am <i>hei>: if therefore ye seek me, let these go their way:
But ye have a custom, that i should release unto you one at the passover: will ye therefore that i release unto you the King of the Jews?
Therefore came i <i>unto youi> without gainsaying, as soon as i was sent for: i ask therefore for what intent ye have sent for me?
Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, <i>Ye musti> be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no <i>suchi> commandment:
We have sent therefore Judas and Silas, who shall also tell <i>youi> the same things by mouth.
Opening and alleging, that Christ must needs have suffered, and risen again from the dead; and that this Jesus, whom i preach unto you, is Christ.
And when they were come to him, he said unto them, Ye know, from the first day that i came into Asia, after what manner i have been with you at all seasons,
<i>Andi> how i kept back nothing that was profitable <i>unto youi>, but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house,
i have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.
Of whom i have no certain thing to write unto my lord. Wherefore i have brought him forth before you, and specially before thee, O king Agrippa, that, after examination had, i might have somewhat to write.
For this cause therefore have i called for you, to see <i>youi>, and to speak with <i>youi>: because that for the hope of Israel i am bound with this chain.
Making request, if by any means now at length i might have a prosperous journey by the will of God to come unto you.
Now i would not have you ignorant, brethren, that oftentimes i purposed to come unto you, (but was let hitherto,) that i might have some fruit among you also, even as among other Gentiles.
Nevertheless, brethren, i have written the more boldly unto you in some sort, as putting you in mind, because of the grace that is given to me of God,
When therefore i have performed this, and have sealed to them this fruit, i will come by you into Spain.
Now i beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
For your obedience is come abroad unto all <i>meni>. i am glad therefore on your behalf: but yet i would have you wise unto that which is good, and simple concerning evil.
i have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able <i>to bear iti>, neither yet now are ye able.
And these things, brethren, i have in a figure transferred to myself and <i>toi> Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think <i>of meni> above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another.
Now ye are full, now ye are rich, ye have reigned as kings without us: and i would to God ye did reign, that we also might reign with you.
For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet <i>have yei> not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus i have begotten you through the gospel.
For this cause have i sent unto you Timotheus, who is my beloved son, and faithful in the Lord, who shall bring you into remembrance of my ways which be in Christ, as i teach every where in every church.
It is reported commonly <i>that there isi> fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife.
But now i have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost <i>which isi> in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
But and if thou marry, thou hast not sinned; and if a virgin marry, she hath not sinned. Nevertheless such shall have trouble in the flesh: but i spare you.
But i would have you without carefulness. He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord: But he that is married careth for the things that are of the world, how he may please <i>hisi> wife. There is difference <i>alsoi> between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please <i>heri> husband. And this i speak for your own profit; not that i may cast a snare upon you, but for that which is comely, and that ye may attend upon the Lord without distraction.
If we have sown unto you spiritual things, <i>is iti> a great thing if we shall reap your carnal things?
If others be partakers of <i>thisi> power over you, <i>arei> not we rather? Nevertheless we have not used this power; but suffer all things, lest we should hinder the gospel of Christ.
But i would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman <i>isi> the man; and the head of Christ <i>isi> God.
What? have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise ye the church of God, and shame them that have not? What shall i say to you? shall i praise you in this? i praise <i>youi> not.
For i have received of the Lord that which also i delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the <i>samei> night in which he was betrayed took bread:
And the eye cannot say unto the hand, i have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, i have no need of you.
Moreover, brethren, i declare unto you the gospel which i preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what i preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
As touching <i>ouri> brother Apollos, i greatly desired him to come unto you with the brethren: but his will was not at all to come at this time; but he will come when he shall have convenient time.
i beseech you, brethren, (ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and <i>thati> they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints,)
And in this confidence i was minded to come unto you before, that ye might have a second benefit;
And i wrote this same unto you, lest, when i came, i should have sorrow from them of whom i ought to rejoice; having confidence in you all, that my joy is <i>the joyi> of you all.
For out of much affliction and anguish of heart i wrote unto you with many tears; not that ye should be grieved, but that ye might know the love which i have more abundantly unto you.
But if any have caused grief, he hath not grieved me, but in part: that i may not overcharge you all.
For we commend not ourselves again unto you, but give you occasion to glory on our behalf, that ye may have somewhat to <i>answeri> them which glory in appearance, and not in heart.
i speak not <i>thisi> to condemn <i>youi>: for i have said before, that ye are in our hearts to die and live with <i>youi>.
For behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed after a godly sort, what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, <i>whati> clearing of yourselves, yea, <i>whati> indignation, yea, <i>whati> fear, yea, <i>whati> vehement desire, yea, <i>whati> zeal, yea, <i>whati> revenge! In all <i>thingsi> ye have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter.
For if i have boasted any thing to him of you, i am not ashamed; but as we spake all things to you in truth, even so our boasting, which <i>i madei> before Titus, is found a truth.
And herein i give <i>myi> advice: for this is expedient for you, who have begun before, not only to do, but also to be forward a year ago.
And we have sent with them our brother, whom we have oftentimes proved diligent in many things, but now much more diligent, upon the great confidence which <i>i havei> in you.
Yet have i sent the brethren, lest our boasting of you should be in vain in this behalf; that, as i said, ye may be ready:
For i am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for i have espoused you to one husband, that i may present <i>you asi> a chaste virgin to Christ.
But though <i>i bei> rude in speech, yet not in knowledge; but we have been throughly made manifest among you in all things.
have i committed an offence in abasing myself that ye might be exalted, because i have preached to you the gospel of God freely?
And when i was present with you, and wanted, i was chargeable to no man: for that which was lacking to me the brethren which came from Macedonia supplied: and in all <i>thingsi> i have kept myself from being burdensome unto you, and <i>soi> will i keep <i>myselfi>.
i am become a fool in glorying; ye have compelled me: for i ought to have been commended of you: for in nothing am i behind the very chiefest apostles, though i be nothing.
<i>Andi> lest, when i come again, my God will humble me among you, and <i>thati> i shall bewail many which have sinned already, and have not repented of the uncleanness and fornication and lasciviousness which they have committed.
i told you before, and foretell you, as if i were present, the second time; and being absent now i write to them which heretofore have sinned, and to all other, that, if i come again, i will not spare:
As we said before, so say i now again, If any <i>mani> preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
Brethren, i beseech you, be as i <i>ami>; for i <i>ami> as ye <i>arei>: ye have not injured me at all.
Where is then the blessedness ye spake of? for i bear you record, that, if <i>it had beeni> possible, ye would have plucked out your own eyes, and have given them to me.
i have confidence in you through the Lord, that ye will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubleth you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be.
Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which i tell you before, as i have also told <i>youi> in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
Whom i have sent unto you for the same purpose, that ye might know our affairs, and <i>thati> he might comfort your hearts.
Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because i have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace.
(For many walk, of whom i have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, <i>that they arei> the enemies of the cross of Christ: Whose end <i>isi> destruction, whose God <i>is theiri> belly, and <i>whosei> glory <i>isi> in their shame, who mind earthly things.) For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:
But i have all, and abound: i am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things <i>which were senti> from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.
For i would that ye knew what great conflict i have for you, and <i>fori> them at Laodicea, and <i>fori> as many as have not seen my face in the flesh;
Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also <i>doi> ye.
Whom i have sent unto you for the same purpose, that he might know your estate, and comfort your hearts;
Nor of men sought we glory, neither of you, nor <i>yeti> of others, when we might have been burdensome, as the apostles of Christ.
Wherefore we would have come unto you, even i Paul, once and again; but Satan hindered us.
For this cause, when i could no longer forbear, i sent to know your faith, lest by some means the tempter have tempted you, and our labour be in vain.
But now when Timotheus came from you unto us, and brought us good tidings of your faith and charity, and that ye have good remembrance of us always, desiring greatly to see us, as we also <i>to seei> you:
Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort <i>youi> by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, <i>soi> ye would abound more and more.
That no <i>mani> go beyond and defraud his brother in <i>anyi> matter: because that the Lord <i>isi> the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified.
But i would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that i write unto you.
Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have <i>freei> course, and be glorified, even as <i>it isi> with you:
For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which <i>bei> the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of <i>theiri> conversation.
Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that <i>isi> unprofitable for you.
And i beseech you, brethren, suffer the word of exhortation: for i have written a letter unto you in few words.
Of which salvation the prophets have inquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace <i>that should comei> unto you:
But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle <i>youi>.
By Silvanus, a faithful brother unto you, as i suppose, i have written briefly, exhorting, and testifying that this is the true grace of God wherein ye stand.
(For the life was manifested, and we have seen <i>iti>, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)
That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship <i>isi> with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
My little children, these things write i unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
Brethren, i write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning.
i write unto you, fathers, because ye have known him <i>that isi> from the beginning. i write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. i write unto you, little children, because ye have known the Father.
i have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him <i>that isi> from the beginning. i have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.
i have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.
These <i>thingsi> have i written unto you concerning them that seduce you. But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
These things have i written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast <i>somei> of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and i will give thee a crown of life.
But unto you i say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; i will put upon you none other burden.
i Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. i am the root and the offspring of David, <i>andi> the bright and morning star.
