For brass i will bring gold, and for iron i will bring silver, and for wood brass, and for stones iron: i will also make thy officers peace, and thine exactors righteousness.
For i the LORD love judgment, i hate robbery for burnt offering; and i will direct their work in truth, and i will make an everlasting covenant with them.
And i will tread down the people in mine anger, and make them drunk in my fury, and i will bring down their strength to the earth.
For as the new heavens and the new earth, which i will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.
For thus hath the LORD said, The whole land shall be desolate; yet will i not make a full end.
And <i>wheni> thou <i>arti> spoiled, what wilt thou do? Though thou clothest thyself with crimson, though thou deckest thee with ornaments of gold, though thou rentest thy face with painting, in vain shalt thou make thyself fair; <i>thyi> lovers will despise thee, they will seek thy life.
Wherefore thus saith the LORD God of hosts, Because ye speak this word, behold, i will make my words in thy mouth fire, and this people wood, and it shall devour them.
Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to me: for i will not hear thee.
And i will make Jerusalem heaps, <i>andi> a den of dragons; and i will make the cities of Judah desolate, without an inhabitant.
And i will make <i>theei> to pass with thine enemies into a land <i>whichi> thou knowest not: for a fire is kindled in mine anger, <i>whichi> shall burn upon you.
And i will make thee unto this people a fenced brasen wall: and they shall fight against thee, but they shall not prevail against thee: for i <i>ami> with thee to save thee and to deliver thee, saith the LORD.
And i will make void the counsel of Judah and Jerusalem in this place; and i will cause them to fall by the sword before their enemies, and by the hands of them that seek their lives: and their carcases will i give to be meat for the fowls of the heaven, and for the beasts of the earth.
And i will make this city desolate, and an hissing; every one that passeth thereby shall be astonished and hiss because of all the plagues thereof.
Thus will i do unto this place, saith the LORD, and to the inhabitants thereof, and <i>eveni> make this city as Tophet:
For thus saith the LORD, Behold, i will make thee a terror to thyself, and to all thy friends: and they shall fall by the sword of their enemies, and thine eyes shall behold <i>iti>: and i will give all Judah into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall carry them captive into Babylon, and shall slay them with the sword.
Then i said, i will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But <i>his wordi> was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and i was weary with forbearing, and i could not <i>stayi>.
For thus saith the LORD unto the king's house of Judah; Thou <i>arti> Gilead unto me, <i>andi> the head of Lebanon: <i>yeti> surely i will make thee a wilderness, <i>andi> cities <i>whichi> are not inhabited.
Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts concerning the prophets; Behold, i will feed them with wormwood, and make them drink the water of gall: for from the prophets of Jerusalem is profaneness gone forth into all the land.
Behold, i will send and take all the families of the north, saith the LORD, and Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will bring them against this land, and against the inhabitants thereof, and against all these nations round about, and will utterly destroy them, and make them an astonishment, and an hissing, and perpetual desolations.
And it shall come to pass, when seventy years are accomplished, <i>thati> i will punish the king of Babylon, and that nation, saith the LORD, for their iniquity, and the land of the Chaldeans, and will make it perpetual desolations.
Then will i make this house like Shiloh, and will make this city a curse to all the nations of the earth.
Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, i will send upon them the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, and will make them like vile figs, that cannot be eaten, they are so evil.
Therefore fear thou not, O my servant Jacob, saith the LORD; neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, lo, i will save thee from afar, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and shall be in rest, and be quiet, and none shall make <i>himi> afraid.
For i <i>ami> with thee, saith the LORD, to save thee: though i make a full end of all nations whither i have scattered thee, yet will i not make a full end of thee: but i will correct thee in measure, and will not leave thee altogether unpunished.
And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and i will multiply them, and they shall not be few; i will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.
Again i will build thee, and thou shalt be built, O virgin of Israel: thou shalt again be adorned with thy tabrets, and shalt go forth in the dances of them that make merry.
Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for i will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.
Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that i will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
But this <i>shall bei> the covenant that i will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, i will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
And i will make an everlasting covenant with them, that i will not turn away from them, to do them good; but i will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.
Therefore thus saith the LORD; Ye have not hearkened unto me, in proclaiming liberty, every one to his brother, and every man to his neighbour: behold, i proclaim a liberty for you, saith the LORD, to the sword, to the pestilence, and to the famine; and i will make you to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth.
Behold, i will command, saith the LORD, and cause them to return to this city; and they shall fight against it, and take it, and burn it with fire: and i will make the cities of Judah a desolation without an inhabitant.
But fear not thou, O my servant Jacob, and be not dismayed, O Israel: for, behold, i will save thee from afar off, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and be in rest and at ease, and none shall make <i>himi> afraid.
Fear thou not, O Jacob my servant, saith the LORD: for i <i>ami> with thee; for i will make a full end of all the nations whither i have driven thee: but i will not make a full end of thee, but correct thee in measure; yet will i not leave thee wholly unpunished.
Thy terribleness hath deceived thee, <i>andi> the pride of thine heart, O thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, that holdest the height of the hill: though thou shouldest make thy nest as high as the eagle, i will bring thee down from thence, saith the LORD.
Behold, he shall come up like a lion from the swelling of Jordan against the habitation of the strong: but i will suddenly make him run away from her: and who <i>isi> a chosen <i>man, thati> i may appoint over her? for who <i>isi> like me? and who will appoint me the time? and who <i>isi> that shepherd that will stand before me?
Behold, he shall come up like a lion from the swelling of Jordan unto the habitation of the strong: but i will make them suddenly run away from her: and who <i>isi> a chosen <i>man, thati> i may appoint over her? for who <i>isi> like me? and who will appoint me the time? and who <i>isi> that shepherd that will stand before me?
Behold, i <i>ami> against thee, O destroying mountain, saith the LORD, which destroyest all the earth: and i will stretch out mine hand upon thee, and roll thee down from the rocks, and will make thee a burnt mountain.
Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, i will plead thy cause, and take vengeance for thee; and i will dry up her sea, and make her springs dry.
In their heat i will make their feasts, and i will make them drunken, that they may rejoice, and sleep a perpetual sleep, and not wake, saith the LORD.
And i will make drunk her princes, and her wise <i>meni>, her captains, and her rulers, and her mighty men: and they shall sleep a perpetual sleep, and not wake, saith the King, whose name <i>isi> the LORD of hosts.
And i will make thy tongue cleave to the roof of thy mouth, that thou shalt be dumb, and shalt not be to them a reprover: for they <i>arei> a rebellious house.
Moreover i will make thee waste, and a reproach among the nations that <i>arei> round about thee, in the sight of all that pass by.
So will i stretch out my hand upon them, and make the land desolate, yea, more desolate than the wilderness toward Diblath, in all their habitations: and they shall know that i <i>ami> the LORD.
Wherefore i will bring the worst of the heathen, and they shall possess their houses: i will also make the pomp of the strong to cease; and their holy places shall be defiled.
Tell them therefore, Thus saith the Lord GOD; i will make this proverb to cease, and they shall no more use it as a proverb in Israel; but say unto them, The days are at hand, and the effect of every vision.
And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the <i>womeni> that sew pillows to all armholes, and make kerchiefs upon the head of every stature to hunt souls! will ye hunt the souls of my people, and will ye save the souls alive <i>that comei> unto you?
Wherefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, i <i>ami> against your pillows, wherewith ye there hunt the souls to make <i>themi> fly, and i will tear them from your arms, and will let the souls go, <i>eveni> the souls that ye hunt to make <i>themi> fly.
And i will set my face against that man, and will make him a sign and a proverb, and i will cut him off from the midst of my people; and ye shall know that i <i>ami> the LORD.
And i will make the land desolate, because they have committed a trespass, saith the Lord GOD.
So will i make my fury toward thee to rest, and my jealousy shall depart from thee, and i will be quiet, and will be no more angry.
For when ye offer your gifts, when ye make your sons to pass through the fire, ye pollute yourselves with all your idols, even unto this day: and shall i be inquired of by you, O house of Israel? <i>Asi> i live, saith the Lord GOD, i will not be inquired of by you.
Thus will i make thy lewdness to cease from thee, and thy whoredom <i>broughti> from the land of Egypt: so that thou shalt not lift up thine eyes unto them, nor remember Egypt any more.
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the bloody city! i will even make the pile for fire great.
Behold, therefore i will deliver thee to the men of the east for a possession, and they shall set their palaces in thee, and make their dwellings in thee: they shall eat thy fruit, and they shall drink thy milk.
And i will make Rabbah a stable for camels, and the Ammonites a couchingplace for flocks: and ye shall know that i <i>ami> the LORD.
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; i will also stretch out mine hand upon Edom, and will cut off man and beast from it; and i will make it desolate from Teman; and they of Dedan shall fall by the sword.
And they shall destroy the walls of Tyrus, and break down her towers: i will also scrape her dust from her, and make her like the top of a rock.
And i will make thee like the top of a rock: thou shalt be <i>a placei> to spread nets upon; thou shalt be built no more: for i the LORD have spoken <i>iti>, saith the Lord GOD.
i will make thee a terror, and thou <i>shalt bei> no <i>morei>: though thou be sought for, yet shalt thou never be found again, saith the Lord GOD.
Behold, therefore i <i>ami> against thee, and against thy rivers, and i will make the land of Egypt utterly waste <i>andi> desolate, from the tower of Syene even unto the border of Ethiopia.
And i will make the land of Egypt desolate in the midst of the countries <i>that arei> desolate, and her cities among the cities <i>that arei> laid waste shall be desolate forty years: and i will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries.
Thus saith the Lord GOD; i will also make the multitude of Egypt to cease by the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon.
And i will make the rivers dry, and sell the land into the hand of the wicked: and i will make the land waste, and all that is therein, by the hand of strangers: i the LORD have spoken <i>iti>.
And i will make Pathros desolate, and will set fire in Zoan, and will execute judgments in No.
And when i shall put thee out, i will cover the heaven, and make the stars thereof dark; i will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon shall not give her light.
All the bright lights of heaven will i make dark over thee, and set darkness upon thy land, saith the Lord GOD.
Yea, i will make many people amazed at thee, and their kings shall be horribly afraid for thee, when i shall brandish my sword before them; and they shall tremble at <i>everyi> moment, every man for his own life, in the day of thy fall.
Then will i make their waters deep, and cause their rivers to run like oil, saith the Lord GOD.
And i will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land: and they shall dwell safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods.
And i will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and i will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing.
And say unto it, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O mount Seir, i <i>ami> against thee, and i will stretch out mine hand against thee, and i will make thee most desolate.
Thus will i make mount Seir most desolate, and cut off from it him that passeth out and him that returneth.
i will make thee perpetual desolations, and thy cities shall not return: and ye shall know that i <i>ami> the LORD.
Therefore, <i>asi> i live, saith the Lord GOD, i will even do according to thine anger, and according to thine envy which thou hast used out of thy hatred against them; and i will make myself known among them, when i have judged thee.
Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, i will take the stick of Joseph, which <i>isi> in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, <i>eveni> with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.
And i will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all:
Moreover i will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and i will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.
So will i make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and i will not <i>let themi> pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that i <i>ami> the LORD, the Holy One in Israel.
And when these days are expired, it shall be, <i>thati> upon the eighth day, and <i>soi> forward, the priests shall make your burnt offerings upon the altar, and your peace offerings; and i will accept you, saith the Lord GOD.
But i will make them keepers of the charge of the house, for all the service thereof, and for all that shall be done therein.
But if ye will not make known unto me the dream, <i>there is buti> one decree for you: for ye have prepared lying and corrupt words to speak before me, till the time be changed: therefore tell me the dream, and i shall know that ye can shew me the interpretation thereof.
Then Arioch brought in Daniel before the king in haste, and said thus unto him, i have found a man of the captives of Judah, that will make known unto the king the interpretation.
And they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling <i>shall bei> with the beasts of the field: they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and seven times shall pass over thee, until thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will.
Then Daniel answered and said before the king, Let thy gifts be to thyself, and give thy rewards to another; yet i will read the writing unto the king, and make known to him the interpretation.
And he said, Behold, i will make thee know what shall be in the last end of the indignation: for at the time appointed the end <i>shall bei>.
And i will destroy her vines and her fig trees, whereof she hath said, These <i>arei> my rewards that my lovers have given me: and i will make them a forest, and the beasts of the field shall eat them.
And in that day will i make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven, and <i>withi> the creeping things of the ground: and i will break the bow and the sword and the battle out of the earth, and will make them to lie down safely.
And Ephraim <i>is asi> an heifer <i>that isi> taught, <i>andi> loveth to tread out <i>the corni>; but i passed over upon her fair neck: i will make Ephraim to ride; Judah shall plow, <i>andi> Jacob shall break his clods.
And i <i>that ami> the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt will yet make thee to dwell in tabernacles, as in the days of the solemn feast.
And i will turn your feasts into mourning, and all your songs into lamentation; and i will bring up sackcloth upon all loins, and baldness upon every head; and i will make it as the mourning of an only <i>soni>, and the end thereof as a bitter day.
And i will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit <i>themi>; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them.
Therefore i will make Samaria as an heap of the field, <i>andi> as plantings of a vineyard: and i will pour down the stones thereof into the valley, and i will discover the foundations thereof.
Therefore i will wail and howl, i will go stripped and naked: i will make a wailing like the dragons, and mourning as the owls.
i will surely assemble, O Jacob, all of thee; i will surely gather the remnant of Israel; i will put them together as the sheep of Bozrah, as the flock in the midst of their fold: they shall make great noise by reason of <i>the multitude ofi> men.
And i will make her that halted a remnant, and her that was cast far off a strong nation: and the LORD shall reign over them in mount Zion from henceforth, even for ever.
Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion: for i will make thine horn iron, and i will make thy hoofs brass: and thou shalt beat in pieces many people: and i will consecrate their gain unto the LORD, and their substance unto the Lord of the whole earth.
Therefore also will i make <i>theei> sick in smiting thee, in making <i>theei> desolate because of thy sins.
And the LORD hath given a commandment concerning thee, <i>thati> no more of thy name be sown: out of the house of thy gods will i cut off the graven image and the molten image: i will make thy grave; for thou art vile.
And i will cast abominable filth upon thee, and make thee vile, and will set thee as a gazingstock.
The LORD God <i>isi> my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' <i>feeti>, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.
And he will stretch out his hand against the north, and destroy Assyria; and will make Nineveh a desolation, <i>andi> dry like a wilderness.
At that time will i bring you <i>againi>, even in the time that i gather you: for i will make you a name and a praise among all people of the earth, when i turn back your captivity before your eyes, saith the LORD.
In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, will i take thee, O Zerubbabel, my servant, the son of Shealtiel, saith the LORD, and will make thee as a signet: for i have chosen thee, saith the LORD of hosts.
Behold, i will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah <i>andi> against Jerusalem.
And in that day will i make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.
In that day will i make the governors of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, <i>eveni> in Jerusalem.
And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when i make up my jewels; and i will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.
His lord said unto him, Well done, <i>thoui> good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, i will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, i will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
And he will shew you a large upper room furnished <i>andi> prepared: there make ready for us.
Blessed <i>arei> those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily i say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.
And will not rather say unto him, make ready wherewith i may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till i have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink?
But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for i have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which i will appear unto thee;
For he will finish the work, and cut <i>iti> short in righteousness: because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth.
For i will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ hath not wrought by me, to make the Gentiles obedient, by word and deed,
Wherefore, if meat make my brother to offend, i will eat no flesh while the world standeth, lest i make my brother to offend.
There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God <i>isi> faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear <i>iti>.
For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when i will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
For this <i>isi> the covenant that i will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; i will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and i will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
This <i>isi> the covenant that i will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, i will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will i write them;
make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom <i>bei> glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Behold, i will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, i will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that i have loved thee.
Him that overcometh will i make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and i will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, <i>which isi> new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and <i>i will write upon himi> my new name.
