If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. |

O our God, wilt thou not judge them? for we have no might against this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon thee. |

Revelation 7:10
And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. |
And they shall hearken to thy voice: and thou shalt come, thou and the elders of Israel, unto the king of Egypt, and ye shall say unto him, The LORD God of the Hebrews hath met with us: and now let us go, we beseech thee, three days' journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to the LORD our god.
And they said, The God of the Hebrews hath met with us: let us go, we pray thee, three days' journey into the desert, and sacrifice unto the LORD our god; lest he fall upon us with pestilence, or with the sword.
And the tale of the bricks, which they did make heretofore, ye shall lay upon them; ye shall not diminish ought thereof: for they be idle; therefore they cry, saying, Let us go and sacrifice to our god.
And he said, To morrow. And he said, Be it according to thy word: that thou mayest know that there is none like unto the LORD our god.
And Moses said, It is not meet so to do; for we shall sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians to the LORD our god: lo, shall we sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians before their eyes, and will they not stone us?
We will go three days' journey into the wilderness, and sacrifice to the LORD our god, as he shall command us.
And Moses said, Thou must give us also sacrifices and burnt offerings, that we may sacrifice unto the LORD our god.
Our cattle also shall go with us; there shall not an hoof be left behind; for thereof must we take to serve the LORD our god; and we know not with what we must serve the LORD, until we come thither.
The LORD our god spake unto us in Horeb, saying, Ye have dwelt long enough in this mount:
And when we departed from Horeb, we went through all that great and terrible wilderness, which ye saw by the way of the mountain of the Amorites, as the LORD our god commanded us; and we came to Kadeshbarnea.
And I said unto you, Ye are come unto the mountain of the Amorites, which the LORD our god doth give unto us.
And they took of the fruit of the land in their hands, and brought it down unto us, and brought us word again, and said, It is a good land which the LORD our god doth give us.
Then ye answered and said unto me, We have sinned against the LORD, we will go up and fight, according to all that the LORD our god commanded us. And when ye had girded on every man his weapons of war, ye were ready to go up into the hill.
(As the children of Esau which dwell in Seir, and the Moabites which dwell in Ar, did unto me;) until I shall pass over Jordan into the land which the LORD our god giveth us.
And the LORD our god delivered him before us; and we smote him, and his sons, and all his people.
From Aroer, which is by the brink of the river of Arnon, and from the city that is by the river, even unto Gilead, there was not one city too strong for us: the LORD our god delivered all unto us:
Only unto the land of the children of Ammon thou camest not, nor unto any place of the river Jabbok, nor unto the cities in the mountains, nor unto whatsoever the LORD our god forbad us.
So the LORD our god delivered into our hands Og also, the king of Bashan, and all his people: and we smote him until none was left to him remaining.
For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as the LORD our god is in all things that we call upon him for?
And ye said, Behold, the LORD our god hath shewed us his glory and his greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the midst of the fire: we have seen this day that God doth talk with man, and he liveth.
Now therefore why should we die? for this great fire will consume us: if we hear the voice of the LORD our god any more, then we shall die.
Go thou near, and hear all that the LORD our god shall say: and speak thou unto us all that the LORD our god shall speak unto thee; and we will hear it, and do it.
And when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What mean the testimonies, and the statutes, and the judgments, which the LORD our god hath commanded you?
And the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the LORD our god, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.
And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the LORD our god, as he hath commanded us.
But with him that standeth here with us this day before the LORD our god, and also with him that is not here with us this day:
Lest there should be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose heart turneth away this day from the LORD our god, to go and serve the gods of these nations; lest there should be among you a root that beareth gall and wormwood;
The secret things belong unto the LORD our god: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.
Then my anger shall be kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them, and I will hide my face from them, and they shall be devoured, and many evils and troubles shall befall them; so that they will say in that day, Are not these evils come upon us, because our god is not among us?
Ye shall therefore describe the land into seven parts, and bring the description hither to me, that I may cast lots for you here before the LORD our god.
Notwithstanding, if the land of your possession be unclean, then pass ye over unto the land of the possession of the LORD, wherein the LORD'S tabernacle dwelleth, and take possession among us: but rebel not against the LORD, nor rebel against us, in building you an altar beside the altar of the LORD our god.
God forbid that we should rebel against the LORD, and turn this day from following the LORD, to build an altar for burnt offerings, for meat offerings, or for sacrifices, beside the altar of the LORD our god that is before his tabernacle.
For the LORD our god, he it is that brought us up and our fathers out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, and which did those great signs in our sight, and preserved us in all the way wherein we went, and among all the people through whom we passed:
And the LORD drave out from before us all the people, even the Amorites which dwelt in the land: therefore will we also serve the LORD; for he is our god.
And the people said unto Joshua, The LORD our god will we serve, and his voice will we obey.
And the children of Israel cried unto the LORD, saying, We have sinned against thee, both because we have forsaken our god, and also served Baalim.
Wilt not thou possess that which Chemosh thy god giveth thee to possess? So whomsoever the LORD our god shall drive out from before us, them will we possess.
Then the lords of the Philistines gathered them together for to offer a great sacrifice unto Dagon their god, and to rejoice: for they said, our god hath delivered Samson our enemy into our hand. And when the people saw him, they praised their god: for they said, our god hath delivered into our hands our enemy, and the destroyer of our country, which slew many of us. And it came to pass, when their hearts were merry, that they said, Call for Samson, that he may make us sport. And they called for Samson out of the prison house; and he made them sport: and they set him between the pillars. And Samson said unto the lad that held him by the hand, Suffer me that I may feel the pillars whereupon the house standeth, that I may lean upon them. read more Now the house was full of men and women; and all the lords of the Philistines were there; and there were upon the roof about three thousand men and women, that beheld while Samson made sport. And Samson called unto the LORD, and said, O Lord GOD, remember me, I pray thee, and strengthen me, I pray thee, only this once, O God, that I may be at once avenged of the Philistines for my two eyes. And Samson took hold of the two middle pillars upon which the house stood, and on which it was borne up, of the one with his right hand, and of the other with his left. And Samson said, Let me die with the Philistines. And he bowed himself with all his might; and the house fell upon the lords, and upon all the people that were therein. So the dead which he slew at his death were more than they which he slew in his life. Then his brethren and all the house of his father came down, and took him, and brought him up, and buried him between Zorah and Eshtaol in the buryingplace of Manoah his father. And he judged Israel twenty years. show less
And when the people saw him, they praised their god: for they said, our god hath delivered into our hands our enemy, and the destroyer of our country, which slew many of us.
There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our god.
And when the men of Ashdod saw that it was so, they said, The ark of the God of Israel shall not abide with us: for his hand is sore upon us, and upon Dagon our god.
And the children of Israel said to Samuel, Cease not to cry unto the LORD our god for us, that he will save us out of the hand of the Philistines.
Be of good courage, and let us play the men for our people, and for the cities of our god: and the LORD do that which seemeth him good.
The LORD our god be with us, as he was with our fathers: let him not leave us, nor forsake us:
And let these my words, wherewith I have made supplication before the LORD, be nigh unto the LORD our god day and night, that he maintain the cause of his servant, and the cause of his people Israel at all times, as the matter shall require:
Let your heart therefore be perfect with the LORD our god, to walk in his statutes, and to keep his commandments, as at this day.
And at that time Solomon held a feast, and all Israel with him, a great congregation, from the entering in of Hamath unto the river of Egypt, before the LORD our god, seven days and seven days, even fourteen days.
But if ye say unto me, We trust in the LORD our god: is not that he, whose high places and whose altars Hezekiah hath taken away, and hath said to Judah and Jerusalem, Ye shall worship before this altar in Jerusalem?
Now therefore, O LORD our god, I beseech thee, save thou us out of his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that thou art the LORD God, even thou only.
And David said unto all the congregation of Israel, If it seem good unto you, and that it be of the LORD our god, let us send abroad unto our brethren every where, that are left in all the land of Israel, and with them also to the priests and Levites which are in their cities and suburbs, that they may gather themselves unto us:
And let us bring again the ark of our god to us: for we inquired not at it in the days of Saul.
For because ye did it not at the first, the LORD our god made a breach upon us, for that we sought him not after the due order.
Be of good courage, and let us behave ourselves valiantly for our people, and for the cities of our god: and let the LORD do that which is good in his sight.
Then David the king stood up upon his feet, and said, Hear me, my brethren, and my people: As for me, I had in mine heart to build an house of rest for the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and for the footstool of our god, and had made ready for the building:
Now therefore in the sight of all Israel the congregation of the LORD, and in the audience of our god, keep and seek for all the commandments of the LORD your God: that ye may possess this good land, and leave it for an inheritance for your children after you for ever.
O LORD our god, all this store that we have prepared to build thee an house for thine holy name cometh of thine hand, and is all thine own.
Behold, I build an house to the name of the LORD my God, to dedicate it to him, and to burn before him sweet incense, and for the continual shewbread, and for the burnt offerings morning and evening, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts of the LORD our god. This is an ordinance for ever to Israel.
But as for us, the LORD is our god, and we have not forsaken him; and the priests, which minister unto the LORD, are the sons of Aaron, and the Levites wait upon their business:
And they burn unto the LORD every morning and every evening burnt sacrifices and sweet incense: the shewbread also set they in order upon the pure table; and the candlestick of gold with the lamps thereof, to burn every evening: for we keep the charge of the LORD our god; but ye have forsaken him.
Therefore he said unto Judah, Let us build these cities, and make about them walls, and towers, gates, and bars, while the land is yet before us; because we have sought the LORD our god, we have sought him, and he hath given us rest on every side. So they built and prospered.
And Asa cried unto the LORD his God, and said, LORD, it is nothing with thee to help, whether with many, or with them that have no power: help us, O LORD our god; for we rest on thee, and in thy name we go against this multitude. O LORD, thou art our god; let not man prevail against thee.
Wherefore now let the fear of the LORD be upon you; take heed and do it: for there is no iniquity with the LORD our god, nor respect of persons, nor taking of gifts.
Art not thou our god, who didst drive out the inhabitants of this land before thy people Israel, and gavest it to the seed of Abraham thy friend for ever?
O our god, wilt thou not judge them? for we have no might against this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon thee.
For our fathers have trespassed, and done that which was evil in the eyes of the LORD our god, and have forsaken him, and have turned away their faces from the habitation of the LORD, and turned their backs.
With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the LORD our god to help us, and to fight our battles. And the people rested themselves upon the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.
Doth not Hezekiah persuade you to give over yourselves to die by famine and by thirst, saying, The LORD our god shall deliver us out of the hand of the king of Assyria?
But Zerubbabel, and Jeshua, and the rest of the chief of the fathers of Israel, said unto them, Ye have nothing to do with us to build an house unto our god; but we ourselves together will build unto the LORD God of Israel, as king Cyrus the king of Persia hath commanded us.
And I sent them with commandment unto Iddo the chief at the place Casiphia, and I told them what they should say unto Iddo, and to his brethren the Nethinims, at the place Casiphia, that they should bring unto us ministers for the house of our god.
And by the good hand of our god upon us they brought us a man of understanding, of the sons of Mahli, the son of Levi, the son of Israel; and Sherebiah, with his sons and his brethren, eighteen;
For I was ashamed to require of the king a band of soldiers and horsemen to help us against the enemy in the way: because we had spoken unto the king, saying, The hand of our god is upon all them for good that seek him; but his power and his wrath is against all them that forsake him.
And weighed unto them the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, even the offering of the house of our god, which the king, and his counsellers, and his lords, and all Israel there present, had offered:
So took the priests and the Levites the weight of the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, to bring them to Jerusalem unto the house of our god.
Then we departed from the river of Ahava on the twelfth day of the first month, to go unto Jerusalem: and the hand of our god was upon us, and he delivered us from the hand of the enemy, and of such as lay in wait by the way.
Now on the fourth day was the silver and the gold and the vessels weighed in the house of our god by the hand of Meremoth the son of Uriah the priest; and with him was Eleazar the son of Phinehas; and with them was Jozabad the son of Jeshua, and Noadiah the son of Binnui, Levites;
And now for a little space grace hath been shewed from the LORD our god, to leave us a remnant to escape, and to give us a nail in his holy place, that our god may lighten our eyes, and give us a little reviving in our bondage.
For we were bondmen; yet our god hath not forsaken us in our bondage, but hath extended mercy unto us in the sight of the kings of Persia, to give us a reviving, to set up the house of our god, and to repair the desolations thereof, and to give us a wall in Judah and in Jerusalem.
And after all that is come upon us for our evil deeds, and for our great trespass, seeing that thou our god hast punished us less than our iniquities deserve, and hast given us such deliverance as this;
And Shechaniah the son of Jehiel, one of the sons of Elam, answered and said unto Ezra, We have trespassed against our god, and have taken strange wives of the people of the land: yet now there is hope in Israel concerning this thing.
Now therefore let us make a covenant with our god to put away all the wives, and such as are born of them, according to the counsel of my lord, and of those that tremble at the commandment of our god; and let it be done according to the law.
Let now our rulers of all the congregation stand, and let all them which have taken strange wives in our cities come at appointed times, and with them the elders of every city, and the judges thereof, until the fierce wrath of our god for this matter be turned from us.
Hear, O our god; for we are despised: and turn their reproach upon their own head, and give them for a prey in the land of captivity:
Nevertheless we made our prayer unto our god, and set a watch against them day and night, because of them.
In what place therefore ye hear the sound of the trumpet, resort ye thither unto us: our god shall fight for us.
Also I said, It is not good that ye do: ought ye not to walk in the fear of our god because of the reproach of the heathen our enemies?
And it came to pass, that when all our enemies heard thereof, and all the heathen that were about us saw these things, they were much cast down in their own eyes: for they perceived that this work was wrought of our god.
Now therefore, our god, the great, the mighty, and the terrible God, who keepest covenant and mercy, let not all the trouble seem little before thee, that hath come upon us, on our kings, on our princes, and on our priests, and on our prophets, and on our fathers, and on all thy people, since the time of the kings of Assyria unto this day.
Also we made ordinances for us, to charge ourselves yearly with the third part of a shekel for the service of the house of our god;
For the shewbread, and for the continual meat offering, and for the continual burnt offering, of the sabbaths, of the new moons, for the set feasts, and for the holy things, and for the sin offerings to make an atonement for Israel, and for all the work of the house of our god.
And we cast the lots among the priests, the Levites, and the people, for the wood offering, to bring it into the house of our god, after the houses of our fathers, at times appointed year by year, to burn upon the altar of the LORD our god, as it is written in the law:
Also the firstborn of our sons, and of our cattle, as it is written in the law, and the firstlings of our herds and of our flocks, to bring to the house of our god, unto the priests that minister in the house of our god:
And that we should bring the firstfruits of our dough, and our offerings, and the fruit of all manner of trees, of wine and of oil, unto the priests, to the chambers of the house of our god; and the tithes of our ground unto the Levites, that the same Levites might have the tithes in all the cities of our tillage.
And the priest the son of Aaron shall be with the Levites, when the Levites take tithes: and the Levites shall bring up the tithe of the tithes unto the house of our god, to the chambers, into the treasure house.
For the children of Israel and the children of Levi shall bring the offering of the corn, of the new wine, and the oil, unto the chambers, where are the vessels of the sanctuary, and the priests that minister, and the porters, and the singers: and we will not forsake the house of our god.
Because they met not the children of Israel with bread and with water, but hired Balaam against them, that he should curse them: howbeit our god turned the curse into a blessing.
And before this, Eliashib the priest, having the oversight of the chamber of the house of our god, was allied unto Tobiah:
Did not your fathers thus, and did not our god bring all this evil upon us, and upon this city? yet ye bring more wrath upon Israel by profaning the sabbath.
Shall we then hearken unto you to do all this great evil, to transgress against our god in marrying strange wives?
We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our god we will set up our banners: the LORD fulfil all thy petitions.
Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our god.
And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our god: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.
{A Song and Psalm for the sons of Korah.} Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our god, in the mountain of his holiness.
As we have heard, so have we seen in the city of the LORD of hosts, in the city of our god: God will establish it for ever. Selah.
our god shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.
He that is our god is the God of salvation; and unto GOD the Lord belong the issues from death.
And let the beauty of the LORD our god be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.
Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our god.
And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; yea, the LORD our god shall cut them off.
For he is our god; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,
He hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our god.
Thou answeredst them, O LORD our god: thou wast a God that forgavest them, though thou tookest vengeance of their inventions.
Save us, O LORD our god, and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks unto thy holy name, and to triumph in thy praise.
Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the LORD our god, until that he have mercy upon us.
Praise ye the LORD: for it is good to sing praises unto our god; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely.
Hear the word of the LORD, ye rulers of Sodom; give ear unto the law of our god, ye people of Gomorrah.
And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our god; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.
O LORD our god, other lords beside thee have had dominion over us: but by thee only will we make mention of thy name.
It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing: the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the glory of the LORD, and the excellency of our god.
But if thou say to me, We trust in the LORD our god: is it not he, whose high places and whose altars Hezekiah hath taken away, and said to Judah and to Jerusalem, Ye shall worship before this altar?
Now therefore, O LORD our god, save us from his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that thou art the LORD, even thou only.
The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our god.
The LORD hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our god.
Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our god, for he will abundantly pardon.
In transgressing and lying against the LORD, and departing away from our god, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood.
To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our god; to comfort all that mourn;
But ye shall be named the Priests of the LORD: men shall call you the Ministers of our god: ye shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall ye boast yourselves.
Return, ye backsliding children, and I will heal your backslidings. Behold, we come unto thee; for thou art the LORD our god.
Truly in vain is salvation hoped for from the hills, and from the multitude of mountains: truly in the LORD our god is the salvation of Israel.
We lie down in our shame, and our confusion covereth us: for we have sinned against the LORD our god, we and our fathers, from our youth even unto this day, and have not obeyed the voice of the LORD our god.
And it shall come to pass, when ye shall say, Wherefore doeth the LORD our god all these things unto us? then shalt thou answer them, Like as ye have forsaken me, and served strange gods in your land, so shall ye serve strangers in a land that is not yours.
Neither say they in their heart, Let us now fear the LORD our god, that giveth rain, both the former and the latter, in his season: he reserveth unto us the appointed weeks of the harvest.
Why do we sit still? assemble yourselves, and let us enter into the defenced cities, and let us be silent there: for the LORD our god hath put us to silence, and given us water of gall to drink, because we have sinned against the LORD.
Are there any among the vanities of the Gentiles that can cause rain? or can the heavens give showers? art not thou he, O LORD our god? therefore we will wait upon thee: for thou hast made all these things.
And it shall come to pass, when thou shalt shew this people all these words, and they shall say unto thee, Wherefore hath the LORD pronounced all this great evil against us? or what is our iniquity? or what is our sin that we have committed against the LORD our god?
And the burden of the LORD shall ye mention no more: for every man's word shall be his burden; for ye have perverted the words of the living God, of the LORD of hosts our god.
Then said the princes and all the people unto the priests and to the prophets; This man is not worthy to die: for he hath spoken to us in the name of the LORD our god.

For ye dissembled in your hearts, when ye sent me unto the LORD your God, saying, Pray for us unto the LORD our god; and according unto all that the LORD our god shall say, so declare unto us, and we will do it.
Then spake Azariah the son of Hoshaiah, and Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the proud men, saying unto Jeremiah, Thou speakest falsely: the LORD our god hath not sent thee to say, Go not into Egypt to sojourn there:

The LORD hath brought forth our righteousness: come, and let us declare in Zion the work of the LORD our god.
If it be so, our god whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.
To the Lord our god belong mercies and forgivenesses, though we have rebelled against him;
Neither have we obeyed the voice of the LORD our god, to walk in his laws, which he set before us by his servants the prophets.
As it is written in the law of Moses, all this evil is come upon us: yet made we not our prayer before the LORD our god, that we might turn from our iniquities, and understand thy truth.
Therefore hath the LORD watched upon the evil, and brought it upon us: for the LORD our god is righteous in all his works which he doeth: for we obeyed not his voice.
And now, O Lord our god, that hast brought thy people forth out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and hast gotten thee renown, as at this day; we have sinned, we have done wickedly.
Now therefore, O our god, hear the prayer of thy servant, and his supplications, and cause thy face to shine upon thy sanctuary that is desolate, for the Lord's sake.
For all people will walk every one in the name of his god, and we will walk in the name of the LORD our god for ever and ever.
They shall lick the dust like a serpent, they shall move out of their holes like worms of the earth: they shall be afraid of the LORD our god, and shall fear because of thee.
And I will take away his blood out of his mouth, and his abominations from between his teeth: but he that remaineth, even he, shall be for our god, and he shall be as a governor in Judah, and Ekron as a Jebusite.
And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our god is one Lord:
And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our god.
But even after that we had suffered before, and were shamefully entreated, as ye know, at Philippi, we were bold in our god to speak unto you the gospel of God with much contention.
For what thanks can we render to God again for you, for all the joy wherewith we joy for your sakes before our god;
Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our god would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:
That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our god and the Lord Jesus Christ.
For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our god into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our god in their foreheads.
And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our god which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our god for ever and ever. Amen.
And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our god, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our god day and night.
And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our god:
And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our god, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great.
And god said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
For all the riches which god hath taken from our father, that is ours, and our children's: now then, whatsoever god hath said unto thee, do.
And the people chode with Moses, and spake, saying, Would god that we had died when our brethren died before the LORD!
And the people spake against god, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loatheth this light bread.
And thou shalt go unto the priest that shall be in those days, and say unto him, I profess this day unto the LORD thy god, that I am come unto the country which the LORD sware unto our fathers for to give us.
And when we cried unto the LORD god of our fathers, the LORD heard our voice, and looked on our affliction, and our labour, and our oppression:
But with him that standeth here with us this day before the LORD our god, and also with him that is not here with us this day:
Lest there should be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose heart turneth away this day from the LORD our god, to go and serve the gods of these nations; lest there should be among you a root that beareth gall and wormwood;
And as soon as we had heard these things, our hearts did melt, neither did there remain any more courage in any man, because of you: for the LORD your god, he is god in heaven above, and in earth beneath.
And they answered Joshua, and said, Because it was certainly told thy servants, how that the LORD thy god commanded his servant Moses to give you all the land, and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you, therefore we were sore afraid of our lives because of you, and have done this thing.
And if we have not rather done it for fear of this thing, saying, In time to come your children might speak unto our children, saying, What have ye to do with the LORD god of Israel?
god forbid that we should rebel against the LORD, and turn this day from following the LORD, to build an altar for burnt offerings, for meat offerings, or for sacrifices, beside the altar of the LORD our god that is before his tabernacle.
And they said unto him, Ask counsel, we pray thee, of god, that we may know whether our way which we go shall be prosperous.
There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our god.
And when the men of Ashdod saw that it was so, they said, The ark of the god of Israel shall not abide with us: for his hand is sore upon us, and upon Dagon our god.
Therefore they sent the ark of god to Ekron. And it came to pass, as the ark of god came to Ekron, that the Ekronites cried out, saying, They have brought about the ark of the god of Israel to us, to slay us and our people.
So they sent and gathered together all the lords of the Philistines, and said, Send away the ark of the god of Israel, and let it go again to his own place, that it slay us not, and our people: for there was a deadly destruction throughout all the city; the hand of god was very heavy there.
And the children of Israel said to Samuel, Cease not to cry unto the LORD our god for us, that he will save us out of the hand of the Philistines.
And he said unto him, Behold now, there is in this city a man of god, and he is an honourable man; all that he saith cometh surely to pass: now let us go thither; peradventure he can shew us our way that we should go.
Then said Saul to his servant, But, behold, if we go, what shall we bring the man? for the bread is spent in our vessels, and there is not a present to bring to the man of god: what have we?
And the servant answered Saul again, and said, Behold, I have here at hand the fourth part of a shekel of silver: that will I give to the man of god, to tell us our way.
And all the people said unto Samuel, Pray for thy servants unto the LORD thy god, that we die not: for we have added unto all our sins this evil, to ask us a king.
Let our lord now command thy servants, which are before thee, to seek out a man, who is a cunning player on an harp: and it shall come to pass, when the evil spirit from god is upon thee, that he shall play with his hand, and thou shalt be well.
Wherefore thou art great, O LORD god: for there is none like thee, neither is there any god beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears.
Be of good courage, and let us play the men for our people, and for the cities of our god: and the LORD do that which seemeth him good.
And moreover the king's servants came to bless our lord king David, saying, god make the name of Solomon better than thy name, and make his throne greater than thy throne. And the king bowed himself upon the bed.
And David went out to meet them, and answered and said unto them, If ye be come peaceably unto me to help me, mine heart shall be knit unto you: but if ye be come to betray me to mine enemies, seeing there is no wrong in mine hands, the god of our fathers look thereon, and rebuke it.
And say ye, Save us, O god of our salvation, and gather us together, and deliver us from the heathen, that we may give thanks to thy holy name, and glory in thy praise.
O LORD, there is none like thee, neither is there any god beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears.
Wherefore David blessed the LORD before all the congregation: and David said, Blessed be thou, LORD god of Israel our father, for ever and ever.
O LORD our god, all this store that we have prepared to build thee an house for thine holy name cometh of thine hand, and is all thine own.
O LORD god of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, our fathers, keep this for ever in the imagination of the thoughts of the heart of thy people, and prepare their heart unto thee:
And, behold, god himself is with us for our captain, and his priests with sounding trumpets to cry alarm against you. O children of Israel, fight ye not against the LORD god of your fathers; for ye shall not prosper.
And said, O LORD god of our fathers, art not thou god in heaven? and rulest not thou over all the kingdoms of the heathen? and in thine hand is there not power and might, so that none is able to withstand thee?
But after that our fathers had provoked the god of heaven unto wrath, he gave them into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, the Chaldean, who destroyed this house, and carried the people away into Babylon.
And I sent them with commandment unto Iddo the chief at the place Casiphia, and I told them what they should say unto Iddo, and to his brethren the Nethinims, at the place Casiphia, that they should bring unto us ministers for the house of our god.
And by the good hand of our god upon us they brought us a man of understanding, of the sons of Mahli, the son of Levi, the son of Israel; and Sherebiah, with his sons and his brethren, eighteen;
Now on the fourth day was the silver and the gold and the vessels weighed in the house of our god by the hand of Meremoth the son of Uriah the priest; and with him was Eleazar the son of Phinehas; and with them was Jozabad the son of Jeshua, and Noadiah the son of Binnui, Levites;
And said, O my god, I am ashamed and blush to lift up my face to thee, my god: for our iniquities are increased over our head, and our trespass is grown up unto the heavens.
And after all that is come upon us for our evil deeds, and for our great trespass, seeing that thou our god hast punished us less than our iniquities deserve, and hast given us such deliverance as this;
O LORD god of Israel, thou art righteous: for we remain yet escaped, as it is this day: behold, we are before thee in our trespasses: for we cannot stand before thee because of this.
And it came to pass, when our enemies heard that it was known unto us, and god had brought their counsel to nought, that we returned all of us to the wall, every one unto his work.
They clave to their brethren, their nobles, and entered into a curse, and into an oath, to walk in god's law, which was given by Moses the servant of god, and to observe and do all the commandments of the LORD our Lord, and his judgments and his statutes;
Also we made ordinances for us, to charge ourselves yearly with the third part of a shekel for the service of the house of our god;

And said unto Jeremiah the prophet, Let, we beseech thee, our supplication be accepted before thee, and pray for us unto the LORD thy god, even for all this remnant; (for we are left but a few of many, as thine eyes do behold us:)
Whether it be good, or whether it be evil, we will obey the voice of the LORD our god, to whom we send thee; that it may be well with us, when we obey the voice of the LORD our god.
Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the god of Israel, saying; Ye and your wives have both spoken with your mouths, and fulfilled with your hand, saying, We will surely perform our vows that we have vowed, to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her: ye will surely accomplish your vows, and surely perform your vows.
The voice of them that flee and escape out of the land of Babylon, to declare in Zion the vengeance of the LORD our god, the vengeance of his temple.
The LORD hath brought forth our righteousness: come, and let us declare in Zion the work of the LORD our god.
If it be so, our god whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.
To the Lord our god belong mercies and forgivenesses, though we have rebelled against him;
Neither have we obeyed the voice of the LORD our god, to walk in his laws, which he set before us by his servants the prophets.
O my god, incline thine ear, and hear; open thine eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by thy name: for we do not present our supplications before thee for our righteousnesses, but for thy great mercies.
Have we not all one father? hath not one god created us? why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, by profaning the covenant of our fathers?
And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that god is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.
And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our god is one Lord:
Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, That god is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.

And he said, Men, brethren, and fathers, hearken; The god of glory appeared unto our father Abraham, when he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Charran,
Which also our fathers that came after brought in with Jesus into the possession of the Gentiles, whom god drave out before the face of our fathers, unto the days of David;
The god of this people of Israel chose our fathers, and exalted the people when they dwelt as strangers in the land of Egypt, and with an high arm brought he them out of it.
Now therefore why tempt ye god, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?
Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward god, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.
And he said, The god of our fathers hath chosen thee, that thou shouldest know his will, and see that Just One, and shouldest hear the voice of his mouth.

But if our unrighteousness commend the righteousness of god, what shall we say? Is god unrighteous who taketh vengeance? (I speak as a man)
Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with god through our Lord Jesus Christ:
And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of god is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
And not only so, but we also joy in god through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.
Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto god through Jesus Christ our Lord.
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of god is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
I thank god through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of god; but with the flesh the law of sin.
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of god, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify god, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
And the god of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
Paul, called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of god, and Sosthenes our brother,
Unto the church of god which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:
Grace be unto you, and peace, from god our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
god is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
But we speak the wisdom of god in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which god ordained before the world unto our glory:
And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our god.
For our comely parts have no need: but god hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked:
But thanks be to god, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of god, and Timothy our brother, unto the church of god which is at Corinth, with all the saints which are in all Achaia:
Blessed be god, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the god of all comfort;
Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of god.
For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of god, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward.
Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of god;
For god, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of god in the face of Jesus Christ.
For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of god, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
Wherefore, though I wrote unto you, I did it not for his cause that had done the wrong, nor for his cause that suffered wrong, but that our care for you in the sight of god might appear unto you.
(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through god to the pulling down of strong holds;)
But we will not boast of things without our measure, but according to the measure of the rule which god hath distributed to us, a measure to reach even unto you.
The god and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which is blessed for evermore, knoweth that I lie not.
Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of god and our Father:
But god forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.
Blessed be the god and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
That the god of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
Giving thanks always for all things unto god and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse: Grace be unto you, and peace, from god our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
We give thanks to god and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,
Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians which is in god the Father and in the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace be unto you, and peace, from god our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of god and our Father;
But even after that we had suffered before, and were shamefully entreated, as ye know, at Philippi, we were bold in our god to speak unto you the gospel of god with much contention.
But as we were allowed of god to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but god, which trieth our hearts.
So being affectionately desirous of you, we were willing to have imparted unto you, not the gospel of god only, but also our own souls, because ye were dear unto us.
For ye remember, brethren, our labour and travail: for labouring night and day, because we would not be chargeable unto any of you, we preached unto you the gospel of god.
And sent Timotheus, our brother, and minister of god, and our fellowlabourer in the gospel of Christ, to establish you, and to comfort you concerning your faith:
For what thanks can we render to god again for you, for all the joy wherewith we joy for your sakes before our god;
Now god himself and our Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ, direct our way unto you.
To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before god, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.
For god hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
And the very god of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray god your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians in god our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ:
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not god, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our god would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:
That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our god and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and god, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,
Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of god our Saviour, and Lord Jesus Christ, which is our hope;
Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from god our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.
To Timothy, my dearly beloved son: Grace, mercy, and peace, from god the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.
Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of god;
But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of god our Saviour;
To Titus, mine own son after the common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from god the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour.
Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of god our Saviour in all things.
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great god and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of god, let us hold fast our profession.
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of god.
By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to god continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
Now the god of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,
Blessed be the god and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of god and our Saviour Jesus Christ:
Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of god, and of Jesus our Lord,
Hereby perceive we the love of god, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
Herein is love, not that we loved god, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
For whatsoever is born of god overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our god into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord god, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
Keep yourselves in the love of god, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
