Intellectually Paul argued that he should obey the Mosaic Law ( Romans 7:22), but morally he found himself in rebellion against what he knew was right. [source][source][source]

This natural rebelliousness was something he could not rid himself of. Perhaps Paul used the term "law of the mind" because the mind has the capacity to perceive and make moral judgments. [3][source]
