Yea, they despised the pleasant land, they believed not his word:

For all this they sinned still, and believed not for his wondrous works.

But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him:

Because they believed not in God, and trusted not in his salvation:

Yet in this thing ye did not believe the LORD your God,

Surely they shall not see the land which I sware unto their fathers, neither shall any of them that provoked me see it:

And at Taberah, and at Massah, and at Kibrothhattaavah, ye provoked the LORD to wrath. Likewise when the LORD sent you from Kadeshbarnea, saying, Go up and possess the land which I have given you; then ye rebelled against the commandment of the LORD your God, and ye believed him not, nor hearkened to his voice.

Yea, they turned back and tempted God, and limited the Holy One of Israel. They remembered not his hand, nor the day when he delivered them from the enemy.

And the LORD said unto Moses, How long refuse ye to keep my commandments and my laws?

For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.

Remember, and forget not, how thou provokedst the LORD thy God to wrath in the wilderness: from the day that thou didst depart out of the land of Egypt, until ye came unto this place, ye have been rebellious against the LORD. Also in Horeb ye provoked the LORD to wrath, so that the LORD was angry with you to have destroyed you.

Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

How long shall I bear with this evil congregation, which murmur against me? I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel, which they murmur against me.

And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?

For thus saith the LORD of hosts; As I thought to punish you, when your fathers provoked me to wrath, saith the LORD of hosts, and I repented not:

How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?

He answereth him, and saith, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him unto me.

Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him hither to me.

Thy calf, O Samaria, hath cast thee off; mine anger is kindled against them: how long will it be ere they attain to innocency?

Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father.

O Jerusalem, wash thine heart from wickedness, that thou mayest be saved. How long shall thy vain thoughts lodge within thee?

But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.

And Moses and Aaron came in unto Pharaoh, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD God of the Hebrews, How long wilt thou refuse to humble thyself before me? let my people go, that they may serve me.
