How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

Judgments are prepared for scorners, and stripes for the back of fools.

And when Haman saw that Mordecai bowed not, nor did him reverence, then was Haman full of wrath. A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,

Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.
