Leviticus 19:1-8
[1] And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, [2] Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the LORD your God am holy. [3] Ye shall fear every man his mother, and his father, and keep my sabbaths: I am the LORD your God. [4] Turn ye not unto idols, nor make to yourselves molten gods: I am the LORD your God. [5] And if ye offer a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the LORD, ye shall offer it at your own will. [6] It shall be eaten the same day ye offer it, and on the morrow: and if ought remain until the third day, it shall be burnt in the fire. [7] And if it be eaten at all on the third day, it is abominable; it shall not be accepted. [8] Therefore every one that eateth it shall bear his iniquity, because he hath profaned the hallowed thing of the LORD: and that soul shall be cut off from among his people. |

Psalms 99:1-9
[1] The LORD reigneth; let the people tremble: he sitteth between the cherubims; let the earth be moved. [2] The LORD is great in Zion; and he is high above all the people. [3] Let them praise thy great and terrible name; for it is holy. [4] The king's strength also loveth judgment; thou dost establish equity, thou executest judgment and righteousness in Jacob. [5] Exalt ye the LORD our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy. [6] Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name; they called upon the LORD, and he answered them. [7] He spake unto them in the cloudy pillar: they kept his testimonies, and the ordinance that he gave them. [8] Thou answeredst them, O LORD our God: thou wast a God that forgavest them, though thou tookest vengeance of their inventions. [9] Exalt the LORD our God, and worship at his holy hill; for the LORD our God is holy. |
