Matthew 14:22-33
And straightway Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship, and to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away. And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone. But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary. And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea. read more And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear. But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid. And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt? And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased. Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God. show less |

Revelation 3:4
Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy. |
Moreover the LORD saith, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and Walk with stretched forth necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing as they go, and making a tinkling with their feet:
In those days the house of Judah shall Walk with the house of Israel, and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given for an inheritance unto your fathers.
Take ye heed every one of his neighbour, and trust ye not in any brother: for every brother will utterly supplant, and every neighbour will Walk with slanders.
Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall Walk with me in white: for they are worthy.
And he said unto me, The LORD, before whom I Walk, will send his angel with thee, and prosper thy way; and thou shalt take a wife for my son of my kindred, and of my father's house:
Ye shall Walk in all the ways which the LORD your God hath commanded you, that ye may live, and that it may be well with you, and that ye may prolong your days in the land which ye shall possess.
And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to Walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,
But take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law, which Moses the servant of the LORD charged you, to love the LORD your God, and to Walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.
That the LORD may continue his word which he spake concerning me, saying, If thy children take heed to their way, to Walk before me in truth with all their heart and with all their soul, there shall not fail thee (said he) a man on the throne of Israel.
Concerning this house which thou art in building, if thou wilt Walk in my statutes, and execute my judgments, and keep all my commandments to Walk in them; then will I perform my word with thee, which I spake unto David thy father:
And he said, LORD God of Israel, there is no God like thee, in heaven above, or on earth beneath, who keepest covenant and mercy with thy servants that Walk before thee with all their heart:
Therefore now, LORD God of Israel, keep with thy servant David my father that thou promisedst him, saying, There shall not fail thee a man in my sight to sit on the throne of Israel; so that thy children take heed to their way, that they Walk before me as thou hast walked before me.
Let your heart therefore be perfect with the LORD our God, to Walk in his statutes, and to keep his commandments, as at this day.
And it shall be, if thou wilt hearken unto all that I command thee, and wilt Walk in my ways, and do that is right in my sight, to keep my statutes and my commandments, as David my servant did; that I will be with thee, and build thee a sure house, as I built for David, and will give Israel unto thee.
But Jehu took no heed to Walk in the law of the LORD God of Israel with all his heart: for he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam, which made Israel to sin.
And the king stood by a pillar, and made a covenant before the LORD, to Walk after the LORD, and to keep his commandments and his testimonies and his statutes with all their heart and all their soul, to perform the words of this covenant that were written in this book. And all the people stood to the covenant.
And said, O LORD God of Israel, there is no God like thee in the heaven, nor in the earth; which keepest covenant, and shewest mercy unto thy servants, that Walk before thee with all their hearts: Thou which hast kept with thy servant David my father that which thou hast promised him; and spakest with thy mouth, and hast fulfilled it with thine hand, as it is this day.
Now therefore, O LORD God of Israel, keep with thy servant David my father that which thou hast promised him, saying, There shall not fail thee a man in my sight to sit upon the throne of Israel; yet so that thy children take heed to their way to Walk in my law, as thou hast walked before me.
And the king stood in his place, and made a covenant before the LORD, to Walk after the LORD, and to keep his commandments, and his testimonies, and his statutes, with all his heart, and with all his soul, to perform the words of the covenant which are written in this book.
Yea, though I Walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when wilt thou come unto me? I will Walk within my house with a perfect heart.
I considered all the living which Walk under the sun, with the second child that shall stand up in his stead.
Moreover the LORD saith, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and Walk with stretched forth necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing as they go, and making a tinkling with their feet:
For the LORD spake thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me that I should not Walk in the way of this people, saying,
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall Walk, and not faint.
Behold, all ye that kindle a fire, that compass yourselves about with sparks: Walk in the light of your fire, and in the sparks that ye have kindled. This shall ye have of mine hand; ye shall lie down in sorrow.
They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to Walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.
But I said unto their children in the wilderness, Walk ye not in the statutes of your fathers, neither observe their judgments, nor defile yourselves with their idols:
He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to Walk humbly with thy God?
Then the Pharisees and scribes asked him, Why Walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashen hands?
Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.
Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should Walk in newness of life.
And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and Walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
If we say that we have fellowship with him, and Walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
But if we Walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall Walk with me in white: for they are worthy.
