Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.
I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.
And in the morning, then ye shall see the glory of the LORD; for that he heareth your murmurings against the LORD: and what are we, that ye murmur against us? So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure:
Wherefore glorify ye the LORD in the fires, even the name of the LORD God of Israel in the isles of the sea.
