And Saul perceived that it <i>wasi> Samuel, and he stooped with <i>hisi> face to the ground, and bowed himself. And Samuel said to Saul, Why hast thou disquieted me, to bring me up? And Saul answered, I am sore distressed; for the Philistines make war against me, and God is departed from me, and answereth me no more, neither by prophets, nor by dreams: therefore I have called thee, that thou mayest make known unto me what I shall do. Then said Samuel, Wherefore then dost thou ask of me, seeing the LORD is departed from thee, and is become thine enemy? And the LORD hath done to him, as he spake by me: for the LORD hath rent the kingdom out of thine hand, and given it to thy neighbour, <i>eveni> to David: Because thou obeyedst not the voice of the LORD, nor executedst his fierce wrath upon Amalek, therefore hath the LORD done this thing unto thee this day. Moreover the LORD will also deliver Israel with thee into the hand of the Philistines: and to morrow <i>shalti> thou and thy sons <i>bei> with me: the LORD also shall deliver the host of Israel into the hand of the Philistines. And David said unto him, How wast thou not <span class="highlight-word">afraidspan> to stretch forth thine hand to destroy the LORD'S anointed?

And I say unto you my friends, Be not <span class="highlight-word">afraidspan> of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.

And they that were with me saw indeed the light, and were <span class="highlight-word">afraidspan>; but they heard not the voice of him that spake to me.
Then straightway they departed from him which should have examined him: and the chief captain also was <span class="highlight-word">afraidspan>, after he knew that he was a Roman, and because he had bound him.
For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be <span class="highlight-word">afraidspan> of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:
For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be <span class="highlight-word">afraidspan>; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to <i>executei> wrath upon him that doeth evil.
I am <span class="highlight-word">afraidspan> of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain.
