And I will fetch a morsel of bread, and comfort ye your hearts; after that ye shall pass on: for therefore are ye come to your servant. And they said, So do, as thou hast said.
And Jesse said unto David his son, Take now for thy brethren an ephah of this parched corn, and these ten loaves, and run to the camp to thy brethren;
And Manoah said unto the angel of the LORD, I pray thee, let us detain thee, until we shall have made ready a kid for thee.
Then Abigail made haste, and took two hundred loaves, and two bottles of wine, and five sheep ready dressed, and five measures of parched corn, and an hundred clusters of raisins, and two hundred cakes of figs, and laid them on asses.
In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat Bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.
And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth Bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God.

Seven days shall ye eat unleavened Bread; even the first day ye shall put away leaven out of your houses: for whosoever eateth leavened Bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel.
And ye shall observe the feast of unleavened Bread; for in this selfsame day have I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt: therefore shall ye observe this day in your generations by an ordinance for ever.
In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at even, ye shall eat unleavened Bread, until the one and twentieth day of the month at even.
And Moses said unto the people, Remember this day, in which ye came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the LORD brought you out from this place: there shall no leavened Bread be eaten.
Seven days thou shalt eat unleavened Bread, and in the seventh day shall be a feast to the LORD.
Unleavened Bread shall be eaten seven days; and there shall no leavened Bread be seen with thee, neither shall there be leaven seen with thee in all thy quarters.
And the children of Israel said unto them, Would to God we had died by the hand of the LORD in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the flesh pots, and when we did eat Bread to the full; for ye have brought us forth into this wilderness, to kill this whole assembly with hunger.
Then said the LORD unto Moses, Behold, I will rain Bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or no.
And Moses said, This shall be, when the LORD shall give you in the evening flesh to eat, and in the morning Bread to the full; for that the LORD heareth your murmurings which ye murmur against him: and what are we? your murmurings are not against us, but against the LORD.
I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel: speak unto them, saying, At even ye shall eat flesh, and in the morning ye shall be filled with Bread; and ye shall know that I am the LORD your God.
And when the children of Israel saw it, they said one to another, It is manna: for they wist not what it was. And Moses said unto them, This is the Bread which the LORD hath given you to eat.
And it came to pass, that on the sixth day they gathered twice as much Bread, two omers for one man: and all the rulers of the congregation came and told Moses.
See, for that the LORD hath given you the sabbath, therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the Bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day.
And Moses said, This is the thing which the LORD commandeth, Fill an omer of it to be kept for your generations; that they may see the Bread wherewith I have fed you in the wilderness, when I brought you forth from the land of Egypt.
And Jethro, Moses' father in law, took a burnt offering and sacrifices for God: and Aaron came, and all the elders of Israel, to eat Bread with Moses' father in law before God.
Thou shalt keep the feast of unleavened Bread: (thou shalt eat unleavened Bread seven days, as I commanded thee, in the time appointed of the month Abib; for in it thou camest out from Egypt: and none shall appear before me empty:)
Thou shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leavened Bread; neither shall the fat of my sacrifice remain until the morning.
And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy Bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.
And unleavened Bread, and cakes unleavened tempered with oil, and wafers unleavened anointed with oil: of wheaten flour shalt thou make them.
And one loaf of Bread, and one cake of oiled Bread, and one wafer out of the basket of the unleavened Bread that is before the LORD:
And Aaron and his sons shall eat the flesh of the ram, and the Bread that is in the basket, by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
And if ought of the flesh of the consecrations, or of the Bread, remain unto the morning, then thou shalt burn the remainder with fire: it shall not be eaten, because it is holy.
The feast of unleavened Bread shalt thou keep. Seven days thou shalt eat unleavened Bread, as I commanded thee, in the time of the month Abib: for in the month Abib thou camest out from Egypt.
And he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat Bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.
And he set the Bread in order upon it before the LORD; as the LORD had commanded Moses.
And the remainder thereof shall Aaron and his sons eat: with unleavened Bread shall it be eaten in the holy place; in the court of the tabernacle of the congregation they shall eat it.
Besides the cakes, he shall offer for his offering leavened Bread with the sacrifice of thanksgiving of his peace offerings.
Take Aaron and his sons with him, and the garments, and the anointing oil, and a bullock for the sin offering, and two rams, and a basket of unleavened Bread;
And out of the basket of unleavened Bread, that was before the LORD, he took one unleavened cake, and a cake of oiled Bread, and one wafer, and put them on the fat, and upon the right shoulder:
And Moses said unto Aaron and to his sons, Boil the flesh at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and there eat it with the Bread that is in the basket of consecrations, as I commanded, saying, Aaron and his sons shall eat it.
They shall be holy unto their God, and not profane the name of their God: for the offerings of the LORD made by fire, and the Bread of their God, they do offer: therefore they shall be holy.
Thou shalt sanctify him therefore; for he offereth the Bread of thy God: he shall be holy unto thee: for I the LORD, which sanctify you, am holy.
Speak unto Aaron, saying, Whosoever he be of thy seed in their generations that hath any blemish, let him not approach to offer the Bread of his God. For whatsoever man he be that hath a blemish, he shall not approach: a blind man, or a lame, or he that hath a flat nose, or any thing superfluous, Or a man that is brokenfooted, or brokenhanded, Or crookbackt, or a dwarf, or that hath a blemish in his eye, or be scurvy, or scabbed, or hath his stones broken; read more No man that hath a blemish of the seed of Aaron the priest shall come nigh to offer the offerings of the LORD made by fire: he hath a blemish; he shall not come nigh to offer the Bread of his God. He shall eat the Bread of his God, both of the most holy, and of the holy. Only he shall not go in unto the vail, nor come nigh unto the altar, because he hath a blemish; that he profane not my sanctuaries: for I the LORD do sanctify them. show less
No man that hath a blemish of the seed of Aaron the priest shall come nigh to offer the offerings of the LORD made by fire: he hath a blemish; he shall not come nigh to offer the Bread of his God.
Neither from a stranger's hand shall ye offer the Bread of your God of any of these; because their corruption is in them, and blemishes be in them: they shall not be accepted for you.
And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened Bread unto the LORD: seven days ye must eat unleavened Bread.
And ye shall eat neither Bread, nor parched corn, nor green ears, until the selfsame day that ye have brought an offering unto your God: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
And ye shall offer with the Bread seven lambs without blemish of the first year, and one young bullock, and two rams: they shall be for a burnt offering unto the LORD, with their meat offering, and their drink offerings, even an offering made by fire, of sweet savour unto the LORD.
And the priest shall wave them with the Bread of the firstfruits for a wave offering before the LORD, with the two lambs: they shall be holy to the LORD for the priest.
And thou shalt put pure frankincense upon each row, that it may be on the Bread for a memorial, even an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
And your threshing shall reach unto the vintage, and the vintage shall reach unto the sowing time: and ye shall eat your Bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely.
And when I have broken the staff of your Bread, ten women shall bake your Bread in one oven, and they shall deliver you your Bread again by weight: and ye shall eat, and not be satisfied.
And upon the table of shewbread they shall spread a cloth of blue, and put thereon the dishes, and the spoons, and the bowls, and covers to cover withal: and the continual Bread shall be thereon:
And a basket of unleavened Bread, cakes of fine flour mingled with oil, and wafers of unleavened Bread anointed with oil, and their meat offering, and their drink offerings.
And he shall offer the ram for a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the LORD, with the basket of unleavened Bread: the priest shall offer also his meat offering, and his drink offering.
The fourteenth day of the second month at even they shall keep it, and eat it with unleavened Bread and bitter herbs.
Only rebel not ye against the LORD, neither fear ye the people of the land; for they are Bread for us: their defence is departed from them, and the LORD is with us: fear them not.
Then it shall be, that, when ye eat of the Bread of the land, ye shall offer up an heave offering unto the LORD.
And the people spake against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no Bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loatheth this light Bread.
Command the children of Israel, and say unto them, My offering, and my Bread for my sacrifices made by fire, for a sweet savour unto me, shall ye observe to offer unto me in their due season.
And in the fifteenth day of this month is the feast: seven days shall unleavened Bread be eaten.
And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by Bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live.
A land wherein thou shalt eat Bread without scarceness, thou shalt not lack any thing in it; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills thou mayest dig brass.
When I was gone up into the mount to receive the tables of stone, even the tables of the covenant which the LORD made with you, then I abode in the mount forty days and forty nights, I neither did eat Bread nor drink water:
And I fell down before the LORD, as at the first, forty days and forty nights: I did neither eat Bread, nor drink water, because of all your sins which ye sinned, in doing wickedly in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.

Because they met you not with Bread and with water in the way, when ye came forth out of Egypt; and because they hired against thee Balaam the son of Beor of Pethor of Mesopotamia, to curse thee.
Ye have not eaten Bread, neither have ye drunk wine or strong drink: that ye might know that I am the LORD your God.
And old shoes and clouted upon their feet, and old garments upon them; and all the Bread of their provision was dry and mouldy.

And the angel of the LORD said unto Manoah, Though thou detain me, I will not eat of thy Bread: and if thou wilt offer a burnt offering, thou must offer it unto the LORD. For Manoah knew not that he was an angel of the LORD.
And it came to pass on the fourth day, when they arose early in the morning, that he rose up to depart: and the damsel's father said unto his son in law, Comfort thine heart with a morsel of Bread, and afterward go your way.
Yet there is both straw and provender for our asses; and there is Bread and wine also for me, and for thy handmaid, and for the young man which is with thy servants: there is no want of any thing.
Then she arose with her daughters in law, that she might return from the country of Moab: for she had heard in the country of Moab how that the LORD had visited his people in giving them Bread.
They that were full have hired out themselves for Bread; and they that were hungry ceased: so that the barren hath born seven; and she that hath many children is waxed feeble.
And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left in thine house shall come and crouch to him for a piece of silver and a morsel of Bread, and shall say, Put me, I pray thee, into one of the priests' offices, that I may eat a piece of Bread.
Then said Saul to his servant, But, behold, if we go, what shall we bring the man? for the Bread is spent in our vessels, and there is not a present to bring to the man of God: what have we?
Then shalt thou go on forward from thence, and thou shalt come to the plain of Tabor, and there shall meet thee three men going up to God to Bethel, one carrying three kids, and another carrying three loaves of Bread, and another carrying a bottle of wine:
And they will salute thee, and give thee two loaves of Bread; which thou shalt receive of their hands.
And Jesse took an ass laden with Bread, and a bottle of wine, and a kid, and sent them by David his son unto Saul.
Now therefore what is under thine hand? give me five loaves of Bread in mine hand, or what there is present.
And the priest answered David, and said, There is no common Bread under mine hand, but there is hallowed Bread; if the young men have kept themselves at least from women.
And David answered the priest, and said unto him, Of a truth women have been kept from us about these three days, since I came out, and the vessels of the young men are holy, and the Bread is in a manner common, yea, though it were sanctified this day in the vessel.
So the priest gave him hallowed Bread: for there was no Bread there but the shewbread, that was taken from before the LORD, to put hot Bread in the day when it was taken away.
And Saul said unto him, Why have ye conspired against me, thou and the son of Jesse, in that thou hast given him Bread, and a sword, and hast inquired of God for him, that he should rise against me, to lie in wait, as at this day?
Shall I then take my Bread, and my water, and my flesh that I have killed for my shearers, and give it unto men, whom I know not whence they be?
Then Saul fell straightway all along on the earth, and was sore afraid, because of the words of Samuel: and there was no strength in him; for he had eaten no Bread all the day, nor all the night.
Now therefore, I pray thee, hearken thou also unto the voice of thine handmaid, and let me set a morsel of Bread before thee; and eat, that thou mayest have strength, when thou goest on thy way.

And he dealt among all the people, even among the whole multitude of Israel, as well to the women as men, to every one a cake of Bread, and a good piece of flesh, and a flagon of wine. So all the people departed every one to his house.
And David said unto him, Fear not: for I will surely shew thee kindness for Jonathan thy father's sake, and will restore thee all the land of Saul thy father; and thou shalt eat Bread at my table continually.
Thou therefore, and thy sons, and thy servants, shall till the land for him, and thou shalt bring in the fruits, that thy master's son may have food to eat: but Mephibosheth thy master's son shall eat Bread alway at my table. Now Ziba had fifteen sons and twenty servants.

And when David was a little past the top of the hill, behold, Ziba the servant of Mephibosheth met him, with a couple of asses saddled, and upon them two hundred loaves of Bread, and an hundred bunches of raisins, and an hundred of summer fruits, and a bottle of wine.

And say, Thus saith the king, Put this fellow in the prison, and feed him with Bread of affliction and with water of affliction, until I return in peace.
And there assembled at Jerusalem much people to keep the feast of unleavened Bread in the second month, a very great congregation.
And the children of Israel that were present at Jerusalem kept the feast of unleavened Bread seven days with great gladness: and the Levites and the priests praised the LORD day by day, singing with loud instruments unto the LORD.
And the children of Israel that were present kept the passover at that time, and the feast of unleavened Bread seven days.
Moreover from the time that I was appointed to be their governor in the land of Judah, from the twentieth year even unto the two and thirtieth year of Artaxerxes the king, that is, twelve years, I and my brethren have not eaten the Bread of the governor.
But the former governors that had been before me were chargeable unto the people, and had taken of them Bread and wine, beside forty shekels of silver; yea, even their servants bare rule over the people: but so did not I, because of the fear of God.
Now that which was prepared for me daily was one ox and six choice sheep; also fowls were prepared for me, and once in ten days store of all sorts of wine: yet for all this required not I the Bread of the governor, because the bondage was heavy upon this people.
And gavest them Bread from heaven for their hunger, and broughtest forth water for them out of the rock for their thirst, and promisedst them that they should go in to possess the land which thou hadst sworn to give them.
Because they met not the children of Israel with Bread and with water, but hired Balaam against them, that he should curse them: howbeit our God turned the curse into a blessing.
He wandereth abroad for Bread, saying, Where is it? he knoweth that the day of darkness is ready at his hand.

If his children be multiplied, it is for the sword: and his offspring shall not be satisfied with Bread.
Then came there unto him all his brethren, and all his sisters, and all they that had been of his acquaintance before, and did eat Bread with him in his house: and they bemoaned him, and comforted him over all the evil that the LORD had brought upon him: every man also gave him a piece of money, and every one an earring of gold.
Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat Bread, and call not upon the LORD.
I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging Bread.
Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my Bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.
Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat Bread: they have not called upon God.
Behold, he smote the rock, that the waters gushed out, and the streams overflowed; can he give Bread also? can he provide flesh for his people?

He that tilleth his land shall have plenty of Bread: but he that followeth after vain persons shall have poverty enough.
To have respect of persons is not good: for for a piece of Bread that man will transgress.
Go thy way, eat thy Bread with joy, and drink thy wine with a merry heart; for God now accepteth thy works.
I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet Bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.

And his disciples say unto him, Whence should we have so much Bread in the wilderness, as to fill so great a multitude?
Which when Jesus perceived, he said unto them, O ye of little faith, why reason ye among yourselves, because ye have brought no Bread?
How is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning Bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees?
Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of Bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.
Now the first day of the feast of unleavened Bread the disciples came to Jesus, saying unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare for thee to eat the passover? And he said, Go into the city to such a man, and say unto him, The Master saith, My time is at hand; I will keep the passover at thy house with my disciples. And the disciples did as Jesus had appointed them; and they made ready the passover. Now when the even was come, he sat down with the twelve. read more And as they did eat, he said, Verily I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me. And they were exceeding sorrowful, and began every one of them to say unto him, Lord, is it I? And he answered and said, He that dippeth his hand with me in the dish, the same shall betray me. The Son of man goeth as it is written of him: but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! it had been good for that man if he had not been born. Then Judas, which betrayed him, answered and said, Master, is it I? He said unto him, Thou hast said. And as they were eating, Jesus took Bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom. And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives. show less
And as they were eating, Jesus took Bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.
And the multitude cometh together again, so that they could not so much as eat Bread. And when his friends heard of it, they went out to lay hold on him: for they said, He is beside himself. And the scribes which came down from Jerusalem said, He hath Beelzebub, and by the prince of the devils casteth he out devils. And he called them unto him, and said unto them in parables, How can Satan cast out Satan? read more And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand. And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end. No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house. Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme: But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation: Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit. There came then his brethren and his mother, and, standing without, sent unto him, calling him. And the multitude sat about him, and they said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren without seek for thee. And he answered them, saying, Who is my mother, or my brethren? And he looked round about on them which sat about him, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren! For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother. show less
And commanded them that they should take nothing for their journey, save a staff only; no scrip, no Bread, no money in their purse:
Send them away, that they may go into the country round about, and into the villages, and buy themselves Bread: for they have nothing to eat.
And when they saw some of his disciples eat Bread with defiled, that is to say, with unwashen, hands, they found fault.
Then the Pharisees and scribes asked him, Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat Bread with unwashen hands?
But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children's Bread, and to cast it unto the dogs.
And his disciples answered him, From whence can a man satisfy these men with Bread here in the wilderness?
Now the disciples had forgotten to take Bread, neither had they in the ship with them more than one loaf.
And when Jesus knew it, he saith unto them, Why reason ye, because ye have no Bread? perceive ye not yet, neither understand? have ye your heart yet hardened?
After two days was the feast of the passover, and of unleavened Bread: and the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might take him by craft, and put him to death.
And the first day of unleavened Bread, when they killed the passover, his disciples said unto him, Where wilt thou that we go and prepare that thou mayest eat the passover?
And as they did eat, Jesus took Bread, and blessed, and brake it, and gave to them, and said, Take, eat: this is my body.
And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made Bread.
And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by Bread alone, but by every word of God.
For John the Baptist came neither eating Bread nor drinking wine; and ye say, He hath a devil.
And he said unto them, Take nothing for your journey, neither staves, nor scrip, neither Bread, neither money; neither have two coats apiece.
If a son shall ask Bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?
And it came to pass, as he went into the house of one of the chief Pharisees to eat Bread on the sabbath day, that they watched him.
And when one of them that sat at meat with him heard these things, he said unto him, Blessed is he that shall eat Bread in the kingdom of God.
And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have Bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!
And he took Bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.
And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took Bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them.
And they told what things were done in the way, and how he was known of them in breaking of Bread.
When Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy Bread, that these may eat?
Philip answered him, Two hundred pennyworth of Bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little.
(Howbeit there came other boats from Tiberias nigh unto the place where they did eat Bread, after that the Lord had given thanks:)
Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them Bread from heaven to eat.
Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that Bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true Bread from heaven.
And Jesus said unto them, I am the Bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, I am the Bread which came down from heaven.
This is the Bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die. I am the living Bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this Bread, he shall live for ever: and the Bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat? Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. read more Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me. This is that Bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this Bread shall live for ever. These things said he in the synagogue, as he taught in Capernaum. Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it? When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you? What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before? It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him. And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father. From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God. Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil? He spake of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon: for he it was that should betray him, being one of the twelve. show less
I am the living Bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this Bread, he shall live for ever: and the Bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
This is that Bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this Bread shall live for ever.
I speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen: but that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eateth Bread with me hath lifted up his heel against me.
As soon then as they were come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid thereon, and Bread.
And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of unleavened Bread.)
And we sailed away from Philippi after the days of unleavened Bread, and came unto them to Troas in five days; where we abode seven days.
And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break Bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.
When he therefore was come up again, and had broken Bread, and eaten, and talked a long while, even till break of day, so he departed.
And when he had thus spoken, he took Bread, and gave thanks to God in presence of them all: and when he had broken it, he began to eat.
Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened Bread of sincerity and truth.
The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The Bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?
For we being many are one Bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one Bread.
For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took Bread:
For as often as ye eat this Bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.
Wherefore whosoever shall eat this Bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that Bread, and drink of that cup. For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.
But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that Bread, and drink of that cup.
Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister Bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)
Neither did we eat any man's Bread for nought; but wrought with labour and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you:
Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own Bread.
