And the LORD said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have Not rejected thee, but they have rejected Me, that I should Not reign over them.
And Saul answered and said, Am Not I a Benjamite, of the smallest of the tribes of Israel? and my family the least of all the families of the tribe of Benjamin? wherefore then speakest thou so to Me?
And Samuel said, What hast thou done? And Saul said, Because I saw that the people were scattered from Me, and that thou camest Not within the days appointed, and that the Philistines gathered themselves together at Michmash;
Therefore said I, The Philistines will come down now upon Me to Gilgal, and I have Not made supplication unto the LORD: I forced myself therefore, and offered a burnt offering.
And Saul said, Disperse yourselves among the people, and say unto them, Bring Me hither every man his ox, and every man his sheep, and slay them here, and eat; and sin Not against the LORD in eating with the blood. And all the people brought every man his ox with him that night, and slew them there.
It repenteth Me that I have set up Saul to be king: for he is turned back from following Me, and hath Not performed my commandments. And it grieved Samuel; and he cried unto the LORD all night.
And he stood and cried unto the armies of Israel, and said unto them, Why are ye come out to set your battle in array? am Not I a Philistine, and ye servants to Saul? choose you a man for you, and let him come down to Me.
And Saul said to David, Behold my elder daughter Merab, her will I give thee to wife: only be thou valiant for Me, and fight the LORD'S battles. For Saul said, Let Not mine hand be upon him, but let the hand of the Philistines be upon him.
And he said unto him, God forbid; thou shalt Not die: behold, my father will do nothing either great or small, but that he will shew it Me: and why should my father hide this thing from Me? it is Not so.
And David sware moreover, and said, Thy father certainly knoweth that I have found grace in thine eyes; and he saith, Let Not Jonathan know this, lest he be grieved: but truly as the LORD liveth, and as thy soul liveth, there is but a step between Me and death.
And David said unto Jonathan, Behold, to morrow is the new moon, and I should Not fail to sit with the king at meat: but let Me go, that I may hide myself in the field unto the third day at even.
And thou shalt Not only while yet I live shew Me the kindness of the LORD, that I die Not:
And he said, Let Me go, I pray thee; for our family hath a sacrifice in the city; and my brother, he hath commanded Me to be there: and now, if I have found favour in thine eyes, let Me get away, I pray thee, and see my brethren. Therefore he cometh Not unto the king's table.
For as long as the son of Jesse liveth upon the ground, thou shalt Not be established, nor thy kingdom. Wherefore now send and fetch him unto Me, for he shall surely die.
And David said unto Ahimelech, And is there Not here under thine hand spear or sword? for I have neither brought my sword nor my weapons with Me, because the king's business required haste.
Did I then begin to inquire of God for him? be it far from Me: let Not the king impute any thing unto his servant, nor to all the house of my father: for thy servant knew nothing of all this, less or more.
And the king said unto the footmen that stood about him, Turn, and slay the priests of the LORD; because their hand also is with David, and because they knew when he fled, and did Not shew it to Me. But the servants of the king would Not put forth their hand to fall upon the priests of the LORD.
Abide thou with Me, fear Not: for he that seeketh my life seeketh thy life: but with Me thou shalt be in safeguard.
Behold, this day thine eyes have seen how that the LORD had delivered thee to day into mine hand in the cave: and some bade Me kill thee: but mine eye spared thee; and I said, I will Not put forth mine hand against my lord; for he is the LORD'S anointed.
The LORD judge between Me and thee, and the LORD avenge Me of thee: but mine hand shall Not be upon thee.
And thou hast shewed this day how that thou hast dealt well with Me: forasmuch as when the LORD had delivered Me into thine hand, thou killedst Me Not.
Swear now therefore unto Me by the LORD, that thou wilt Not cut off my seed after Me, and that thou wilt Not destroy my name out of my father's house.
And she said unto her servants, Go on before Me; behold, I come after you. But she told Not her husband Nabal.
For in very deed, as the LORD God of Israel liveth, which hath kept Me back from hurting thee, except thou hadst hasted and come to meet Me, surely there had Not been left unto Nabal by the morning light any that pisseth against the wall.
Then said Abishai to David, God hath delivered thine enemy into thine hand this day: now therefore let Me smite him, I pray thee, with the spear even to the earth at once, and I will Not smite him the second time.
Then said the princes of the Philistines, What do these Hebrews here? And Achish said unto the princes of the Philistines, Is Not this David, the servant of Saul the king of Israel, which hath been with Me these days, or these years, and I have found no fault in him since he fell unto Me unto this day?
Then Achish called David, and said unto him, Surely, as the LORD liveth, thou hast been upright, and thy going out and thy coming in with Me in the host is good in my sight: for I have Not found evil in thee since the day of thy coming unto Me unto this day: nevertheless the lords favour thee Not.

In all the places wherein I have walked with all the children of Israel spake I a word with any of the tribes of Israel, whom I commanded to feed my people Israel, saying, Why build ye Not Me an house of cedar?

And he said unto him, Why art thou, being the king's son, lean from day to day? wilt thou Not tell Me? And Amnon said unto him, I love Tamar, my brother Absalom's sister.
And she answered him, Nay, my brother, do Not force Me; for no such thing ought to be done in Israel: do Not thou this folly.
And I, whither shall I cause my shame to go? and as for thee, thou shalt be as one of the fools in Israel. Now therefore, I pray thee, speak unto the king; for he will Not withhold Me from thee.
And she said unto him, There is no cause: this evil in sending Me away is greater than the other that thou didst unto Me. But he would Not hearken unto her.
And the king said, Whosoever saith ought unto thee, bring him to Me, and he shall Not touch thee any more.
And the king said, Is Not the hand of Joab with thee in all this? And the woman answered and said, As thy soul liveth, my lord the king, none can turn to the right hand or to the left from ought that my lord the king hath spoken: for thy servant Joab, he bade Me, and he put all these words in the mouth of thine handmaid:
And the king said, Is the young man Absalom safe? And Ahimaaz answered, When Joab sent the king's servant, and Me thy servant, I saw a great tumult, but I knew Not what it was.

Although my house be Not so with God; yet he hath made with Me an everlasting covenant, ordered in all things, and sure: for this is all my salvation, and all my desire, although he make it Not to grow.
And he said, Be it far from Me, O LORD, that I should do this: is Not this the blood of the men that went in jeopardy of their lives? therefore he would Not drink it. These things did these three mighty men.
And David said unto Gad, I am in a great strait: let us fall now into the hand of the LORD; for his mercies are great: and let Me Not fall into the hand of man.
Go and get thee in unto king David, and say unto him, Didst Not thou, my lord, O king, swear unto thine handmaid, saying, Assuredly Solomon thy son shall reign after Me, and he shall sit upon my throne? why then doth Adonijah reign?
But Me, even Me thy servant, and Zadok the priest, and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and thy servant Solomon, hath he Not called.
And it was told Solomon, saying, Behold, Adonijah feareth king Solomon: for, lo, he hath caught hold on the horns of the altar, saying, Let king Solomon swear unto Me to day that he will Not slay his servant with the sword.
That the LORD may continue his word which he spake concerning Me, saying, If thy children take heed to their way, to walk before Me in truth with all their heart and with all their soul, there shall Not fail thee (said he) a man on the throne of Israel.
And, behold, thou hast with thee Shimei the son of Gera, a Benjamite of Bahurim, which cursed Me with a grievous curse in the day when I went to Mahanaim: but he came down to meet Me at Jordan, and I sware to him by the LORD, saying, I will Not put thee to death with the sword.
And he said, Speak, I pray thee, unto Solomon the king, (for he will Not say thee nay,) that he give Me Abishag the Shunammite to wife.
Then she said, I desire one small petition of thee; I pray thee, say Me Not nay. And the king said unto her, Ask on, my mother: for I will Not say thee nay.
Then king Solomon sware by the LORD, saying, God do so to Me, and more also, if Adonijah have Not spoken this word against his own life.
And the king sent and called for Shimei, and said unto him, Did I Not make thee to swear by the LORD, and protested unto thee, saying, Know for a certain, on the day thou goest out, and walkest abroad any whither, that thou shalt surely die? and thou saidst unto Me, The word that I have heard is good.
Now therefore command thou that they hew Me cedar trees out of Lebanon; and my servants shall be with thy servants: and unto thee will I give hire for thy servants according to all that thou shalt appoint: for thou knowest that there is Not among us any that can skill to hew timber like unto the Sidonians.
Therefore now, LORD God of Israel, keep with thy servant David my father that thou promisedst him, saying, There shall Not fail thee a man in my sight to sit on the throne of Israel; so that thy children take heed to their way, that they walk before Me as thou hast walked before Me.
But if ye shall at all turn from following Me, ye or your children, and will Not keep my commandments and my statutes which I have set before you, but go and serve other gods, and worship them:
Howbeit I believed Not the words, until I came, and mine eyes had seen it: and, behold, the half was Not told Me: thy wisdom and prosperity exceedeth the fame which I heard.
Because that they have forsaken Me, and have worshipped Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, Chemosh the god of the Moabites, and Milcom the god of the children of Ammon, and have Not walked in my ways, to do that which is right in mine eyes, and to keep my statutes and my judgments, as did David his father.
Thus saith the LORD, Ye shall Not go up, nor fight against your brethren the children of Israel: return every man to his house; for this thing is from Me. They hearkened therefore to the word of the LORD, and returned to depart, according to the word of the LORD.

And she said, As the LORD thy God liveth, I have Not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for Me and my son, that we may eat it, and die.
And Elijah said unto her, Fear Not; go and do as thou hast said: but make Me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto Me, and after make for thee and for thy son.
And it shall come to pass, as soon as I am gone from thee, that the Spirit of the LORD shall carry thee whither I know Not; and so when I come and tell Ahab, and he cannot find thee, he shall slay Me: but I thy servant fear the LORD from my youth.
Then Jezebel sent a messenger unto Elijah, saying, So let the gods do to Me, and more also, if I make Not thy life as the life of one of them by to morrow about this time.

And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, Did I Not tell thee that he would prophesy no good concerning Me, but evil?
And Micaiah said, If thou return at all in peace, the LORD hath Not spoken by Me. And he said, Hearken, O people, every one of you.
And Elijah said unto Elisha, Tarry here, I pray thee; for the LORD hath sent Me to Bethel. And Elisha said unto him, As the LORD liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will Not leave thee. So they went down to Bethel.
And Elijah said unto him, Elisha, tarry here, I pray thee; for the LORD hath sent Me to Jericho. And he said, As the LORD liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will Not leave thee. So they came to Jericho.

Now therefore call unto Me all the prophets of Baal, all his servants, and all his priests; let none be wanting: for I have a great sacrifice to do to Baal; whosoever shall be wanting, he shall Not live. But Jehu did it in subtilty, to the intent that he might destroy the worshippers of Baal.
But if ye say unto Me, We trust in the LORD our God: is Not that he, whose high places and whose altars Hezekiah hath taken away, and hath said to Judah and Jerusalem, Ye shall worship before this altar in Jerusalem?
But Rabshakeh said unto them, Hath my master sent Me to thy master, and to thee, to speak these words? hath he Not sent Me to the men which sit on the wall, that they may eat their own dung, and drink their own piss with you?
Hearken Not to Hezekiah: for thus saith the king of Assyria, Make an agreement with Me by a present, and come out to Me, and then eat ye every man of his own vine, and every one of his fig tree, and drink ye every one the waters of his cistern:
And Isaiah said unto them, Thus shall ye say to your master, Thus saith the LORD, Be Not afraid of the words which thou hast heard, with which the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed Me.
Go ye, inquire of the LORD for Me, and for the people, and for all Judah, concerning the words of this book that is found: for great is the wrath of the LORD that is kindled against us, because our fathers have Not hearkened unto the words of this book, to do according unto all that which is written concerning us. Go and tell David my servant, Thus saith the LORD, Thou shalt Not build Me an house to dwell in:
Wheresoever I have walked with all Israel, spake I a word to any of the judges of Israel, whom I commanded to feed my people, saying, Why have ye Not built Me an house of cedars?
And David said unto Gad, I am in a great strait: let Me fall now into the hand of the LORD; for very great are his mercies: but let Me Not fall into the hand of man.
And David said unto God, Is it Not I that commanded the people to be numbered? even I it is that have sinned and done evil indeed; but as for these sheep, what have they done? let thine hand, I pray thee, O LORD my God, be on Me, and on my father's house; but Not on thy people, that they should be plagued.
But the word of the LORD came to Me, saying, Thou hast shed blood abundantly, and hast made great wars: thou shalt Not build an house unto my name, because thou hast shed much blood upon the earth in my sight.
But God said unto Me, Thou shalt Not build an house for my name, because thou hast been a man of war, and hast shed blood.
Now therefore, O LORD God of Israel, keep with thy servant David my father that which thou hast promised him, saying, There shall Not fail thee a man in my sight to sit upon the throne of Israel; yet so that thy children take heed to their way to walk in my law, as thou hast walked before Me.
Howbeit I believed Not their words, until I came, and mine eyes had seen it: and, behold, the one half of the greatness of thy wisdom was Not told Me: for thou exceedest the fame that I heard.
Thus saith the LORD, Ye shall Not go up, nor fight against your brethren: return every man to his house: for this thing is done of Me. And they obeyed the words of the LORD, and returned from going against Jeroboam.

And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, Did I Not tell thee that he would Not prophesy good unto Me, but evil?
And Micaiah said, If thou certainly return in peace, then hath Not the LORD spoken by Me. And he said, Hearken, all ye people.
Go, inquire of the LORD for Me, and for them that are left in Israel and in Judah, concerning the words of the book that is found: for great is the wrath of the LORD that is poured out upon us, because our fathers have Not kept the word of the LORD, to do after all that is written in this book.
Because they have forsaken Me, and have burned incense unto other gods, that they might provoke Me to anger with all the works of their hands; therefore my wrath shall be poured out upon this place, and shall Not be quenched.
But he sent ambassadors to him, saying, What have I to do with thee, thou king of Judah? I come Not against thee this day, but against the house wherewith I have war: for God commanded Me to make haste: forbear thee from meddling with God, who is with Me, that he destroy thee Not.
Give ye now commandment to cause these men to cease, and that this city be Not builded, until another commandment shall be given from Me.
Now when these things were done, the princes came to Me, saying, The people of Israel, and the priests, and the Levites, have Not separated themselves from the people of the lands, doing according to their abominations, even of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians, and the Amorites.
Wherefore the king said unto Me, Why is thy countenance sad, seeing thou art Not sick? this is nothing else but sorrow of heart. Then I was very sore afraid,
But the former governors that had been before Me were chargeable unto the people, and had taken of them bread and wine, beside forty shekels of silver; yea, even their servants bare rule over the people: but so did Not I, because of the fear of God.
Now that which was prepared for Me daily was one ox and six choice sheep; also fowls were prepared for Me, and once in ten days store of all sorts of wine: yet for all this required Not I the bread of the governor, because the bondage was heavy upon this people.
And, lo, I perceived that God had Not sent him; but that he pronounced this prophecy against Me: for Tobiah and Sanballat had hired him.
Remember Me, O my God, concerning this, and wipe Not out my good deeds that I have done for the house of my God, and for the offices thereof.
Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for Me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king, which is Not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish.
The eye of him that hath seen Me shall see Me no more: thine eyes are upon Me, and I am Not.
And why dost thou Not pardon my transgression, and take away mine iniquity? for now shall I sleep in the dust; and thou shalt seek Me in the morning, but I shall Not be.
If I had called, and he had answered Me; yet would I Not believe that he had hearkened unto my voice. For he breaketh Me with a tempest, and multiplieth my wounds without cause. He will Not suffer Me to take my breath, but filleth Me with bitterness. If I speak of strength, lo, he is strong: and if of judgment, who shall set Me a time to plead? read more If I justify myself, mine own mouth shall condemn Me: if I say, I am perfect, it shall also prove Me perverse. Though I were perfect, yet would I Not know my soul: I would despise my life. This is one thing, therefore I said it, He destroyeth the perfect and the wicked. If the scourge slay suddenly, he will laugh at the trial of the innocent. The earth is given into the hand of the wicked: he covereth the faces of the judges thereof; if Not, where, and who is he? Now my days are swifter than a post: they flee away, they see no good. They are passed away as the swift ships: as the eagle that hasteth to the prey. If I say, I will forget my complaint, I will leave off my heaviness, and comfort myself: I am afraid of all my sorrows, I know that thou wilt Not hold Me innocent. If I be wicked, why then labour I in vain? If I wash myself with snow water, and make my hands never so clean; Yet shalt thou plunge Me in the ditch, and mine own clothes shall abhor Me. For he is Not a man, as I am, that I should answer him, and we should come together in judgment. Neither is there any daysman betwixt us, that might lay his hand upon us both. Let him take his rod away from Me, and let Not his fear terrify Me: Then would I speak, and Not fear him; but it is Not so with Me. show less
If I be wicked, woe unto Me; and if I be righteous, yet will I Not lift up my head. I am full of confusion; therefore see thou mine affliction;
His archers compass Me round about, he cleaveth my reins asunder, and doth Not spare; he poureth out my gall upon the ground.
These ten times have ye reproached Me: ye are Not ashamed that ye make yourselves strange to Me.
Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and Not another; though my reins be consumed within Me.
As for Me, is my complaint to man? and if it were so, why should Not my spirit be troubled?
My righteousness I hold fast, and will Not let it go: my heart shall Not reproach Me so long as I live.
For destruction from God was a terror to Me, and by reason of his highness I could Not endure.
Did I fear a great multitude, or did the contempt of families terrify Me, that I kept silence, and went Not out of the door?
Now he hath Not directed his words against Me: neither will I answer him with your speeches.
Let Me Not, I pray you, accept any man's person, neither let Me give flattering titles unto man.

I will Not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against Me round about.
{To the chief Musician on Neginoth upon Sheminith, A Psalm of David.} O LORD, rebuke Me Not in thine anger, neither chasten Me in thy hot displeasure.
I have set the LORD always before Me: because he is at my right hand, I shall Not be moved.

Thou hast delivered Me from the strivings of the people; and thou hast made Me the head of the heathen: a people whom I have Not known shall serve Me.
Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them Not have dominion over Me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.
Remember Not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou Me for thy goodness' sake, O LORD.
{A Psalm of David.} Judge Me, O LORD; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the LORD; therefore I shall Not slide. Examine Me, O LORD, and prove Me; try my reins and my heart. For thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes: and I have walked in thy truth. I have Not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with dissemblers. read more I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will Not sit with the wicked. I will wash mine hands in innocency: so will I compass thine altar, O LORD: That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works. LORD, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth. Gather Not my soul with sinners, nor my life with bloody men: In whose hands is mischief, and their right hand is full of bribes. But as for Me, I will walk in mine integrity: redeem Me, and be merciful unto Me. My foot standeth in an even place: in the congregations will I bless the LORD. show less

Deliver Me Not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against Me, and such as breathe out cruelty.
{A Psalm of David.} Unto thee will I cry, O LORD my rock; be Not silent to Me: lest, if thou be silent to Me, I become like them that go down into the pit.
Draw Me Not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, which speak peace to their neighbours, but mischief is in their hearts.
{A Psalm and Song at the dedication of the house of David.} I will extol thee, O LORD; for thou hast lifted Me up, and hast Not made my foes to rejoice over Me.
O LORD, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept Me alive, that I should Not go down to the pit.

Believest thou Not that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? the words that I speak unto you I speak Not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in Me, he doeth the works. Believe Me that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me: or else believe Me for the very works' sake. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. If ye love Me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him Not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love Me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. He that loveth Me Not keepeth Not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is Not mine, but the Father's which sent Me. These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave Me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence. show less

For I say, through the grace given unto Me, to every man that is among you, Not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
For even Christ pleased Not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on Me.
For I will Not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ hath Not wrought by Me, to make the Gentiles obedient, by word and deed,
For Christ sent Me Not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: Not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
But with Me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man's judgment: yea, I judge Not mine own self. For I know nothing by myself; yet am I Not hereby justified: but he that judgeth Me is the Lord. Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.
For I know nothing by myself; yet am I Not hereby justified: but he that judgeth Me is the Lord.
All things are lawful unto Me, but all things are Not expedient: all things are lawful for Me, but I will Not be brought under the power of any.
Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto Me: It is good for a man Not to touch a woman. Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband. Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband. The wife hath Not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath Not power of his own body, but the wife. read more Defraud ye Not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you Not for your incontinency. But I speak this by permission, and Not of commandment. For I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that. I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I. But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn. And unto the married I command, yet Not I, but the Lord, Let Not the wife depart from her husband: But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let Not the husband put away his wife. But to the rest speak I, Not the Lord: If any brother hath a wife that believeth Not, and she be pleased to dwell with him, let him Not put her away. And the woman which hath an husband that believeth Not, and if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her Not leave him. For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy. But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is Not under bondage in such cases: but God hath called us to peace. For what knowest thou, O wife, whether thou shalt save thy husband? or how knowest thou, O man, whether thou shalt save thy wife? But as God hath distributed to every man, as the Lord hath called every one, so let him walk. And so ordain I in all churches. Is any man called being circumcised? let him Not become uncircumcised. Is any called in uncircumcision? let him Not be circumcised. Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God. Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called. Art thou called being a servant? care Not for it: but if thou mayest be made free, use it rather. For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is the Lord's freeman: likewise also he that is called, being free, is Christ's servant. Ye are bought with a price; be Not ye the servants of men. Brethren, let every man, wherein he is called, therein abide with God. Now concerning virgins I have no commandment of the Lord: yet I give my judgment, as one that hath obtained mercy of the Lord to be faithful. I suppose therefore that this is good for the present distress, I say, that it is good for a man so to be. Art thou bound unto a wife? seek Not to be loosed. Art thou loosed from a wife? seek Not a wife. But and if thou marry, thou hast Not sinned; and if a virgin marry, she hath Not sinned. Nevertheless such shall have trouble in the flesh: but I spare you. But this I say, brethren, the time is short: it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though they had none; And they that weep, as though they wept Not; and they that rejoice, as though they rejoiced Not; and they that buy, as though they possessed Not; And they that use this world, as Not abusing it: for the fashion of this world passeth away. But I would have you without carefulness. He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord: But he that is married careth for the things that are of the world, how he may please his wife. There is difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please her husband. And this I speak for your own profit; Not that I may cast a snare upon you, but for that which is comely, and that ye may attend upon the Lord without distraction. But if any man think that he behaveth himself uncomely toward his virgin, if she pass the flower of her age, and need so require, let him do what he will, he sinneth Not: let them marry. Nevertheless he that standeth stedfast in his heart, having no necessity, but hath power over his own will, and hath so decreed in his heart that he will keep his virgin, doeth well. So then he that giveth her in marriage doeth well; but he that giveth her Not in marriage doeth better. The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord. But she is happier if she so abide, after my judgment: and I think also that I have the Spirit of God. show less
For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon Me; yea, woe is unto Me, if I preach Not the gospel!

And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have Not charity, it profiteth Me nothing.
Therefore if I know Not the meaning of the voice, I shall be unto him that speaketh a barbarian, and he that speaketh shall be a barbarian unto Me.
In the law it is written, With men of other tongues and other lips will I speak unto this people; and yet for all that will they Not hear Me, saith the Lord.

Lest haply if they of Macedonia come with Me, and find you unprepared, we (that we say Not, ye) should be ashamed in this same confident boasting.
It is Not expedient for Me doubtless to glory. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord. I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven. And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is Not lawful for a man to utter.
For though I would desire to glory, I shall Not be a fool; for I will say the truth: but now I forbear, lest any man should think of Me above that which he seeth Me to be, or that he heareth of Me.
For what is it wherein ye were inferior to other churches, except it be that I myself was Not burdensome to you? forgive Me this wrong.
And lest, when I come again, my God will humble Me among you, and that I shall bewail many which have sinned already, and have Not repented of the uncleanness and fornication and lasciviousness which they have committed.
Since ye seek a proof of Christ speaking in Me, which to you-ward is Not weak, but is mighty in you.
Therefore I write these things being absent, lest being present I should use sharpness, according to the power which the Lord hath given Me to edification, and Not to destruction.
But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of Me is Not after man.

Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to Me indeed is Not grievous, but for you it is safe.
Be Not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of Me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;
The Lord give mercy unto the house of Onesiphorus; for he oft refreshed Me, and was Not ashamed of my chain:
Henceforth there is laid up for Me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give Me at that day: and Not to Me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
At my first answer no man stood with Me, but all men forsook Me: I pray God that it may Not be laid to their charge. Notwithstanding the Lord stood with Me, and strengthened Me; that by Me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion. And the Lord shall deliver Me from every evil work, and will preserve Me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Not now as a servant, but above a servant, a brother beloved, specially to Me, but how much more unto thee, both in the flesh, and in the Lord?
I Paul have written it with mine own hand, I will repay it: albeit I do Not say to thee how thou owest unto Me even thine own self besides.
And they shall Not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know Me, from the least to the greatest.
Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest Not, but a body hast thou prepared Me:
So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will Not fear what man shall do unto Me.
And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon Me, saying unto Me, Fear Not; I am the first and the last:
Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have Not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with Me in white: for they are worthy.
I counsel thee to buy of Me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do Not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
And one of the elders saith unto Me, Weep Not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto Me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them Not.
And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto Me, See thou do it Not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
Then saith he unto Me, See thou do it Not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.
And he saith unto Me, Seal Not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.
